Abstract
Introduction
Poor adoption of electronic health records among healthcare workers can diminish their impact. Healthcare informatics solutions development should diligently acknowledge ...end-user needs. This study compares a user experience and perceived quality of the nursing process integration in two different applications for electronic documentation of the nursing care plan. Both applications were designed and tested in Slovenia.
Methods
In the first phase, final year undergraduate nursing students were recruited (n=73) and randomly assigned into two groups. Each group used one of the applications for a duration of five hours. A survey among students was conducted. In the second phase, additional students were recruited (n=40) and invited to participate in qualitative analysis of the unfavourably rated application.
Results
The modern, visually improved application was favourably rated by students in terms of all aspects of application usability. However, students reported a significant number of inadequacies regarding the nursing process methodology integration. On the contrary, the students using the poorly rated and visually outdated application reported no such concerns. Qualitative analysis of student reflections identified additional positive features of software design that were not detected in survey results analysis.
Conclusion
This study showed that a user-centred approach can be used to compare diverse electronic solutions. Detected discrepancies in findings using qualitative and quantitative analysis show the importance of integrating diverse research approaches for adequate evaluation of software solutions. Furthermore, this study design promotes empowerment of healthcare workers to participate in the development and critical evaluations of software solutions.
Intenzivna primjena informacijskih tehnologija u svakodnevnom poslovanju ne mijenja samo tradicionalne načine obavljanja računovodstvenih zadataka, već traži i specijalizirana znanja i vještine. U ...tom smislu, od iznimnog je značaja edukacija vezana uz informacijske tehnologije i primjenu informacijskih tehnologija u računovodstvu, a koju budući profesionalni računovođe stječu tijekom formalnog obrazovanja na visokoškolskim institucijama. Cilj rada je istražiti pojavnost kolegija koji pružaju edukaciju o informacijskim tehnologijama na računovodstvenim smjerovima, na preddiplomskoj i diplomskoj razini studija, na visokoškolskim institucijama s AACSB akreditacijom (eng. The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) u odabranim europskim zemljama. U radu se također identificiraju vrste informacijskih tehnologija koje se izučavaju u okviru kolegija na računovodstvenim smjerovima na preddiplomskoj i diplomskoj razini studija. U istraživanju je korištena metoda analize sadržaja web stranica, pri čemu je analiziran 51 studijski program računovodstvenog usmjerenja. Rezultati provedenog empirijskog istraživanja nadopunjuju postojeće spoznaje pružajući uvid u informacijske tehnologije koje se izučavaju na preddiplomskoj i diplomskoj razini studijskih programa računovodstvenog usmjerenja u europskom kontekstu, a koje u značajnoj mjeri korespondiraju tehnologijama koje se primjenjuju u recentnoj računovodstvenoj praksi.

Danas, broj starijih osoba povećava se velikim brzinama, tako da se starijim osobama treba posvetiti s više zaslužene pažnje - tako da se obje strane pripremaju za svoju dob. Da bi i dalje uživali u uspjehu i kvaliteti života, moramo unijeti u njihove živote više raznih informacija što je više moguće - komunikacijske tehnologije, što je utjecajni faktor našeg načina života. Svrha ovog članka je utvrditi je li integracija starijih ljudi u modernu komunikaciju zadovoljavajuća, te kako se starije osobe prilagođavaju modernoj komunikaciji. Ovaj članak se temelji na pregledu literature i izvora na hrvatskom i slovenskom jeziku. U članku je analiziran zakonodavni okvir Turske Republike o borbi protiv kibernetičkog kriminala. Povijest razvoja policijskih organizacija i njihov rad na ovom području istražena je i detaljno opisana. U članku se također nalaze informacije o politici kontinuiranog obrazovanja zaposlenika o borbi protiv kibernetičkog kriminala te je prikazana shema rada u području obrazovanja. Prema rezultatima studije možemo pouzdano reći da Turska trenutno radi na učinkovitom radu u borbi protiv kibernetičkog kriminala. Iskustvo u ovom području može se koristiti u zemljama ZND-a i drugim zemljama za učinkovito suzbijanje kriminala u području informacijske tehnologije.
