This book presents the fundamentals of wireless communications and services, explaining in detail what RF spectrum management is, why it is important, which are the authorities regulating the use of ...spectrum, and how is it managed and enforced at the international, regional and national levels. The book offers insights to the engineering, regulatory, economic, legal, management policy-making aspects involved. Real-world case studies are presented to depict the various approaches in different countries, and valuable lessons are drawn. The topics are addressed by engineers, advocates and economists employed by national and international spectrum regulators. The book is a tool that will allow the international regional and national regulators to better manage the RF spectrum, and will help operators and suppliers of wireless communications to better understand their regulators.
Uvodni in zaključni odstavek zaslužita posebno pozornost, saj močno vplivata na učinek celotnega pisnega sestavka. Naloga uvodnega odstavka je, da napove glavno misel sestavka, pa tudi, da pri bralcu ...zbudi zanimanje in ga tako prepriča, naj prebere celotno besedilo. V zaključku pisec bralca še enkrat spomni na glavno temo sestavka, hkrati pa poskrbi za zaključne misli, ki bodo bralcu ostale v spominu tudi potem, ko besedilo odloži. Članek obravnava težave, s katerimi se pri pisanju uvodnih in zaključnih odstavkov srečujejo dijaki in študentje angleščine. Razdeljene so v tri skupine: motnje v koherenci, neustrezna dolžina in neustrezen slog. Članek vsebuje tudi tipe vaj, s pomočjo katerih lahko študentje opisane težave uzavestijo in postopno odpravijo.
The thesis upon which this paper is based is existence of a spatial data infrastructure in a specific form, at a specific moment and at a specific level, which is directly linked to the level of ...technological and social development. Establishing a spatial data infrastructure actually means improving the existing infrastructureand can be defined as a number of activities aiming at easier access to and dissemination of the existing spatial data, and easier and more efficient use of them. This paper considers improvement of the spatial data infrastructure in Croatia as a public project ofpermanent character and of special social interest. Taking into consideration a four-year improvement period, a cost-benefit analysis was made, the financial indicators of which show that the best efficiency is accomplished if the project initial time period is shorter.

The concept of heritage relates to the ways in which contemporary society uses the past as a social, political or economic resource. However, heritage is open to interpretation and its value may be ...perceived from differing perspectives - often reflecting divisions in society. Moreover, the schism between the cultural and economic uses of heritage also gives rise to potential conflicts of interest.
Examining these issues in depth, this book is the first sustained attempt to integrate the study of heritage into contemporary human geography. It is structured around three themes: the diversity of use and consumption of heritage as a multi-sold cultural and economic resource; the conflicts and tensions arising from this multiplicity of uses, producers and consumers; and the relationship between heritage and identity at a variety of scales.
Geografske zasnove načrtovanja regionalnega napredka in posegov v geografsko okolje izhajajo iz predpostavk koncepta trajnega prilagajanja antropogenih sprememb v pokrajini svojstvenim zmogljivostim ...in omejitvam pokrajinotvornih sestavin. V pokrajinsko degradirani Zasavski regiji je izboljšanje kakovosti okolja (kurativni ukrepi) in regionalni gospodarski napredek v okviru nosilnih zmogljivosti okolja in prostora (preventivni ukrepi) temeljni razvojno-okoljsko zasnovan cilj razvojne strategije.
