Perusahaan dalam memenuhi permintaan pelanggan merupakan salah satu kunci sukses memenangkan kompetisi, PT Narmada Awet Muda (PT NAM) adalah salah satu perusahaan air minum dalam kemasan (AMDK) yang ...beroperasi di Lombok, NTB. Salah satu produk unggulan PT NAM adalah AMDK cup 220 ml. Ketersediaan karton box penting bagi produk AMDK cup 220 ml, karena tahap akhir produksi adalah pengemasan 48 gelas 220 ml ke dalam karton box. Saat ini, perusahaan seringkali mengalami kekurangan bahan baku karton box dan kegiatan material handling gudang kurang baik. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah merencanakan jumlah pemesanan ekonomis probabilistik karton box AMDL cup 220 ml agar dapat memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen dan total biaya persediaan minimal. Obyek penelitian adalah karton box kemasan AMDK cup ukuran 220 ml bagian PPIC, data harga karton box (P) = Rp. 100.000/ikat, biaya pemesanan (C) = Rp 38,00/pesan, biaya simpan (H) 7,5% bahan, leadtime 0,13 bulan. Model exponential smoothing berpola serupa dengan pola aktual, sehingga maka model digunakan sebagai dasar perhitungan persediaan periode mendatang. Peningkatan service level hingga 99% perusahaan menetapkan jumlah pemesanan optimal 4.541 ikat/bulan, frekuensi pemesanan 12 kali/bulan, titik pemesanan kembali 5.983 ikat dengan persediaan cadangan 5.392 ikat dan biaya total sebesar Rp. 5.515.199.900,12.
Valuable books and archival documents are stored in protective packaging, most frequently made of cardboard, in the depositories of archives, libraries, museums or galleries. As part of preventive ...conservation, the cardboard could theoretically be treated during production with suitable substances delaying ignition or decelerating flaming combustion. This work describes a study of the short-term and long-term effectiveness of selected inorganic additive flame retardants and their influence on the properties of cardboards. Substances containing silicon, boron or hydroxide anions were tested on Prolux solid cardboard and Klug corrugated cardboard. Parameters such as the linear burning rate, oxygen index, heat release rate, weight loss during heating, pH of an aqueous extract, and total colour difference were evaluated. A mixture of mica and bentonite Cloisite-Na
in a solution of Tylose MH6000 was found to be most useful for this purpose. This mixture doubled the time to ignition of Klug cardboard; in measurements of the linear burning rate, it caused early flame self-extinction for both kinds of cardboard and, simultaneously, had no observable detrimental effect on the stability of the treated cardboard.
Industri karton skala kecil saat ini mengalami kesulitan kontinuitas pasokan bahan baku (khususnya pulp dan kertas bekas). Limbah industri pengolahan minyak kelapa sawit dalam bentuk tandan kosong ...kelapa sawit (TKKS) sebagai bahan serat berligno selulosa berlimpah jumlahnya dan belum banyak dimanfaatkan, sehingga berindikasi pemanfaatannya sebagai bahan baku industri karton. TKKS sesudah dijadikan serpih, diolah menjadi pulp menggunakan proses semikimia soda panas tertutup pada ketel pemasak skala semi-pilot hasil rekayasa Pusat Litbang Hasil Hutan (Bogor) pada kondisi pemasakan: konsentrasi alkali (NaOH) 10%, nilai banding serpih TKKS dengan larutan pemasak 1:5.5, dan waktu pemasakan 2 jam pada suhu maksimum 120oC dan tekanan 1,2 - 1,5 atmosfir. Rata-rata rendemen pulp TKKS yang diperoleh 60,17%, bilangan kappa 38,17, dan konsumsi alkali 9,81%. Lembaran karton dibentuk dari campuran pulp TKKS 50% dan sludge industri kertas 50%; dan dari pulp TKKS 100%, masing-masing dengan penambahan bahan aditif (kaolin 5%, alum 2%, tapioca 4%, dan rosin size 2%). Sifat fisik karton asal pulp TKKS 100% dan asal campurannya dengan sludge industri kertas (50%-50%) lebih tinggi dari pada karton produksi industri rakyat (dari campuran kertas bekas 50% dan sludge 50%, (tetapi tanpa bahan aditif). Hal ini mengisyaratkan prospek penggunaan pulp TKKS yang dicampur dengan sludge, sebagai bahan baku altermatif/pengganti pada industri karton yang menggunakan kertas bekas.

Coreboards are produced entirely from corrugated cardboard wastes and 165 to 450 g/m2 depending on the area of use and used as coil cores (tissue papers, bobbins, etc.). Calendering processes at ...different temperature, pressure and time were applied to coreboards surfaces in order to improve surface properties. The calendering process was applied to coreboards with 165, 275 and 400 g/m2 at 110, 130, 150 and 170 ºC temperatures for 3 and 5 seconds and under 10, 15, 20 and 25 bar pressure. Then, the surface roughness, Scott bond and air permeability properties of the coreboards were determined and the effects of calendering conditions on these properties were also examined. As a result of the study, it has been determined that applying the calendering process to the coreboard has a positive effect on the surface properties such as roughness, Scott bond and air permeability, and it is also thought that the calendering process will also improve the print quality to be applied to coreboards.
Paper-Cardboard production sector renews itself day by day and evaluates alternative options to increase quality. At the same time, it has closely adapted to technological developments in the ...printing industry and has now managed to enter every home or office thanks to digital printing. Digital printing (inkjet-electrophotographic) has come to a level where it can replace some conventional printing techniques as a result of the quality prints it provides. Considering the ease of use and cost advantage, it becomes inevitable that this printing technique is one of the most common printing methods. In this study, the properties of corrugated cardboard with different coating properties in electrophotographic printing are investigated with parameters such as printing chroma, hue angle and gloss values. According to the results of the research, it is determined that corrugated cardboards coated with precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC) gave more positive results in terms of both optical properties and electrophotographic print quality.
Industri pulp/kertas Indonesia kebanyakan masih tergantung pada kayu konvensional. Salah satu mengurangi ketergantungan ini adalah mencari ligno selulosa lain yang dapat dimanfaatkan seperti limbah ...sludge, kertas koran bekas, dan serat abaka (Musa textile Nee), sebagaimana dilakukan dalam percobaan ini menjadi pulp atau kertas karton. Mula-mula, sludge dibersihkan sehingga bebas dari bahan asing berukuran relatif besar, kertas bekas dibuang tintanya dan diolah menjadi pulp dan kulit batang abaka diolah menjadi pulp dengan proses semi-kimia soda panas. Selanjutnya, bubur serat disiapkan dengan variasi komposisi campuran sludge bersih (0-30 persen), pulp koran bekas (55-100 persen), dan pulp abaka (0-15 persen). Pada tiap komposisi tersebut, ditambhakan bahan aditif (alum pengikat dan perekat pati, masing-masing 1,5 persen). Selanjutnya, lembaran pulp dibentuk secara manual bertarget gramatur 125 gram per m2 dan diuji sifat kekuatan dan derajat kecerahannya. Hasil percobaan menunjukkan bahwa menurunnya porsi sludge, dan meningkatnya pulp kertas koran bekas ataupun pulp abaka meningkatkan kekuatan lembaran pulp. Derajat kecerahan lembaran pulp juga mengalami hal serupa, tetapi menurun dengan meningkatnya porsi pulp abaka. Kualitas lembaran pulp campuran dari 0-10 persen sludge berseral pendek, 75-100 persen kertas koran bekas, dan 0-15 persen pulp abaka dapat menyamai kertas karton komersial bergramatur 125 gram per m2. Penggunaan sludge lebih dari 10 persen masib mungkin dengan pemakaian lebih banyak bahan pengikat/perekat (pati, dekstrin, dan resin).
In 1847, the Austrian painter Leopold Kupelwieser (1796-1862) was commissioned to execute a fresco cycle in the Ceremonial Hall of the Niederösterreichische Statthalterei (Lower Austrian Government ...Building, Vienna), depicting scenes from Austrian history. Iconographic aspects of each painting, using pictorial and literary sources as well as pointing out biographical connections and artistic forebears and influences, are being discussed. The complex interplay between art technology and conceptual statements manifests itself particularly articulate in the focal point of cartoon and fresco; accordingly, this study approaches Kupelwiesers work through the description of the materials he used and the way he processed them.
1847 wurde der niederösterreichische Künstler Leopold Kupelwieser (1796-1862) damit beauftragt, den großen Sitzungssaal im neuen Gebäude der nö. Statthalterei mit einem Freskenzyklus zur Österreichischen Geschichte auszuschmücken. Die vorliegende Arbeit beinhaltet eine Darstellung der Genese des Bildprogramms und eine ikonographische Analyse der einzelnen Bildgegenstände sowie die Deutung des Gesamtkonzepts. Da sich gerade an den Brennpunkten Karton und Freskotechnik die komplexen wechselseitigen Bedingungen von künstlerischer Technik und inhaltlicher Aussage manifestieren, wird auch über eine Beschreibung der Materialien und ihrer Art der Verarbeitung und Verwendung ein Zugang zu Kupelwiesers Werk gesucht.
