En este trabajo se pretende poner en evidencia las posibilidades didácticas que, a nuestro juicio, se derivan de los principales postulados de la teoría de los modelos de mundo, de Manuel Asensi. A ...partir de su revisión, creemos que también resulta relevante dejar aquí constancia acerca de su relación implícita con el pensamiento crítico, pero igualmente de aspectos que están ligados entre los niveles de la competencia con los tipos de pensamiento formulados por la teoría dual de razonamiento. La propuesta de Asensi, en particular, respalda el análisis crítico del discurso, empleando para tal efecto, la detección de su silogismo y sus modelos de mundo declarados u ocultos en discursos presentes en una obra o filme. De esta forma, adquiere sentido su incorporación en la literatura escolar, porque la teoría, en definitiva, dialoga con referentes cognitivos y educativos que atienden de un modo directo o indirecto tanto las representaciones mentales, como la motivación del lector cuando analiza el discurso literario.
The “Consejería de Educación” in Cantabria has developed several projects in the schools considering the progressive importance that multilingualism education has taken in society. However, these ...policies with the goal of using L2 are often very different that what children are doing at the moment in their own mother tongue.In this paper, we array a quantitative analysis about the situation of school libraries and the books in English that are held at those centers that belong to the Bilingual Education Plan. We take into consideration various surveys to teachers, the people that design the plan, students and parents. This study lets us see the precarious nature of reading in this project and reflects the need we have in Cantabria to combine the efforts of L1 and L2 in order to improve reading and literary competence in both languages for our children.
RESUMEN En este trabajo se aborda la lectura universitaria como campo de teoría y de práctica, partiendo de la hipótesis de que la teoría de la lectura del escritor argentino Ricardo Piglia, ...diseminada a lo largo de su producción intelectual, constituye un auténtico modelo para la formación literaria, ya que sitúa la interacción lector-texto en el eje de su propuesta. Sus reflexiones como profesor y como escritor muestran una intensa correlación entre el campo de la didáctica y el campo de la crítica y la teoría literarias capaces de llenar el vacío teórico existente referido a la enseñanza de la lectura como una trama compleja donde se cruzan ideas sobre las formas de la construcción y distribución del saber. Abstract: In this paper, reading university as a field of theory and practice is addressed, on the assumption that the theory of reading the Argentine writer Ricardo Piglia, disseminated throughout his intellectual production, is a real model for the literary education, because it places the reader-text interaction in the axis of its proposal. His reflections as a teacher and writer show a strong correlation between the field of teaching and the field of literary criticism and theory able to fill the theoretical vacuum on the teaching of reading as a complex network where ideas are crossing over forms of construction and distribution of knowledge.
Algunos centros educativos que buscan hacer una mejor animación a la lectura ponen en funcionamiento clubs de lectura escolares, sin embargo, esta práctica sigue siendo minoritaria en el contexto de ...las acciones que los centros implementan para mejorar la competencia lectora de los alumnos. En este artículo se analiza etnográficamente el aporte que ha hecho un club de lectura escolar a la mejora de la competencia literaria de sus participantes a lo largo del primer curso académico que se pone en funcionamiento. Los resultados muestran que los miembros del club han aumentado la comprensión lectora, la educación en valores y el gusto por la lectura. Es posible concluir que la puesta en marcha de un club de lectura en la escuela permite mejorar la competencia literaria de los niños participantes.
This article is a discussion of some aspects of reader response. It attempts to track the development of various theories: from the view of the text as an entity set in stone, through structuralist ...and phenomenological arguments, to the point where the text becomes a virtual dimension. But not only is the importance of the text within the literary whole under review; what happens when the reader reads is considered, as is the location, indeed the very existence, of the author. Importantly, illustrations of how reader response theories assist readings of literature within the classroom, in order to achieve meaning, are included here.

El propósito ...de este artículo es ofrecer un marco teórico que sirva de base para la elaboración de actividades y unidades didácticas. Para ello, nos centraremos en las teorías de los géneros discursivos, el enfoque de la mediación lingüística y el de la alfabetización multimodal como modelos que nos sugieren las pautas que vamos a seguir a la hora de utilizar textos narrativos en el aula que cuentan con una adaptación fílmica o televisiva.

People who discuss books in reading groups are playing a role in transferring cultural values, norms and ideas about themes present in the literature they read. How this cultural transfer takes ...place, and in which ways the process can be enhanced, has to date not been examined. Therefore,
the University of Groningen, the Netherlands collaborated with two public libraries and a community organization to set up a research project addressing different aspects of the process from inside reading groups. The results imply that readers who are focusing on reflection and interpretation
of literature play an important role in cultural transfer, which can be assisted by the use of reading guides. The collaboration between scholars and non-academic partners proved fruitful in co-creating knowledge that can be used in further research and to improve service to reading groups.
