This study aims at evaluating the mastery level of effective teaching for teachers in inclusive schools in Jordan, and to investigate the differences in this level of mastery according to the ...variables of teacher qualification and experience. The study followed the descriptive survey approach, where the study sample consisted of (50) male and female teachers from the inclusive schools in Amman, and their teaching performance was observed using an observation card consisting of 38 phrases, distributed over three dimensions: planning, teaching and classroom management, and evaluation. The results indicated that the mean score of the teaching and classroom management dimension only was more than the assumed cutoff degree, and the difference between them is statistically significant at the level (α = 0.05), while there is no statistical significance for the rest of the dimensions means as well as for the total score. The findings also showed that there were statistically significant differences in the mastery of teaching with respect to specialization in favor of teachers majoring in education. Further, the findings showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the mastery of teaching due to experience. The study sheds light on the necessity of activating the role of educational supervision and training courses for in-service teachers, especially in the areas of planning and evaluation of the teaching-learning proces.

Students face challenges in English communication primarily due to insufficient vocabulary. Consequently, teachers should actively implement strategic measures to enhance students' mastery of ...vocabulary, such as incorporating activities like the use of flashcard. The objective of this study is to investigate whether the utilization of flashcard media has a positive impact on enhancing vocabulary. This research is an experimental study with a pre post test design using 2 sample groups, namely the intervention group and the control group consisting of 32 people per group. In choosing the participants, the researcher used purposive sampling. This study was conducted in SMPN 6 Palu since the participants are the students of the eighth grade. The results were analyzed using t table and t calculations to determine the effect. The result showed that the mean score of pre-test of control group is 45.13 and that the mean score post test of control group was 53, whereas the mean score of pre-test of experimental group is 45.38, and the mean score of experimental group was 81.38. t-counted (14.57) is higher that t-table (1.9988). This implies that the research hypothesis has been validated. In summary, the utilization of flashcards proves to be effective in enhancing vocabulary among eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 6 Palu. flashcard media could be used as one of media in the classroom, because it easy and interesting in applying for the students.
Prior knowledge is one of the important factors that can affect the effectiveness of absorbing new information or concepts that students will learn. This research aims to know the mastery profile of ...students' concepts (prior knowledge) on hydrostatic pressure material. Descriptive research is applied in this study to realize these goals. This research was conducted at SMAN VII Mataram with a total sample of 44 students spread over four classes. Samples were taken using a simple random sampling technique. The data collection tool in this study was a concept mastery test instrument consisting of 14 questions. This test instrument measures students' mastery of concepts from cognitive level C1 (remembering) to cognitive level C4 (analyzing). Data on test results were analyzed by calculating the average percentage of students who could answer questions correctly according to the cognitive level being tested. This percentage is used as an indicator to measure the student's mastery of concepts on hydrostatic pressure material. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the level of student's mastery of concepts for cognitive level C1 (remembering) was 70.45%, cognitive level C2 (understanding) was 31.36%, cognitive level C3 (applying) was 27.73%, and cognitive level C4 (analyzing) was 18.94%. It can be concluded that students' mastery of concepts, especially at cognitive levels C2-C4, is still very low.
Simulation technology is widely used in undergraduate and graduate medical education as well as for personnel training and evaluation in other healthcare professions. Simulation provides safe and ...effective opportunities for learners at all levels to practice and acquire clinical skills needed for patient care. A growing body of research evidence documents the utility of simulation technology for educating healthcare professionals. However, simulation has not been widely endorsed or used for continuing medical education (CME).
This article reviews and evaluates evidence from studies on simulation technology in undergraduate and graduate medical education and addresses its implications for CME.
The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality Evidence Report suggests that simulation training is effective, especially for psychomotor and communication skills, but that the strength of the evidence is low. In another review, the Best Evidence Medical Education collaboration supported the use of simulation technology, focusing on high-fidelity medical simulations under specific conditions. Other studies enumerate best practices that include mastery learning, deliberate practice, and recognition and attention to cultural barriers within the medical profession that present obstacles to wider use of this technology.
Simulation technology is a powerful tool for the education of physicians and other healthcare professionals at all levels. Its educational effectiveness depends on informed use for trainees, including providing feedback, engaging learners in deliberate practice, integrating simulation into an overall curriculum, as well as on the instruction and competence of faculty in its use. Medical simulation complements, but does not replace, educational activities based on real patient-care experiences.
This study addressed the role of elementary school teachers' classroom management and mastery-oriented instructional practices as mediators of the effects of teacher motivation on student motivation. ...The sample comprised 110 teacher-class pairs (1731 students). The results from multilevel regression analyses revealed that teacher educational interest contributed to student reports of teachers' instructional practices. These practices, in turn, were significant predictors of students' subject interest and mastery goals at both the student and the class level. Finally, teacher educational interest showed significant and substantial indirect relations to student motivation that were mediated by teachers’ instructional practices.
•Teacher educational interest proved to be a strong predictor of classroom management.•Classroom management showed strong effects on student motivation.•Indirect effects of teacher educational interest on student motivation were found.

Existing studies found that school closure during the COVID-19 pandemic negatively influenced adolescents' mental health. Yet, it remains unclear how adolescent mental health changed during the ...transition of school reopening as well as the academic-related risk and protective factors.
Immediately before (April 2020) and three months (July 2020) after school reopening, 879 adolescents in Shanghai, China (mean age = 13.14 years, standard deviation = 1.31, 51% girls) completed online surveys and reported on their mental health (i.e., depressive symptoms, anxiety symptoms, and anger problems). Adolescents also reported perceived academic stress and academic orientations (i.e., performance orientation and mastery orientation) before school reopening.
Adolescents reported decreased depressive symptoms, anxiety symptoms, and anger problems three months after school reopening. Adolescents who reported higher perceived academic stress and performance orientation showed elevated mental health symptoms after school reopening, whereas those reported higher mastery orientation showed decreased anger problems. Higher mastery orientation buffered the negative influence of academic stress on mental health.
The findings not only demonstrate the positive influence of school reopening on Chinese adolescents' mental health but also highlight the role of perceived academic stress and academic orientations in contributing to individual differences during this transition.
