Modern economic conditions, characterized by the processes of globalization, increased competition, interconnection of scientific-technical and information-analytical spheres of activity, put the ...enterprise in front of the need to solve such a vital problem as the development of marketing potential. In a market environment, an enterprise cannot take stable positions for a long time without assessing its marketing potential. The aim of the article is to develop a methodical approach to assessing the marketing potential of enterprise through the prism of marketing management. In the process of carrying out the study, general scientific and special methods were used: analysis and synthesis, scientific abstraction, classification, structural analysis, grouping, expert analysis, the method of hierarchies, and graphical methods. The article substantiates the necessity of formation of a system of marketing management of enterprise. The authors’ own definition of marketing management as a holistic concept of system management of enterprise on the basis of marketing with the use of strategic and tactical measures to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and maximum profit is presented. Three approaches to defining the definition of «marketing potential» have been analyzed and allocated: resultant, resource, and targeted. Among the main approaches to assessing the marketing potential, the following were allocated: effective, diagnostic, and comprehensive. The carried out analysis of approaches allowed to substantiate the need to develop a methodical approach to assessing the marketing potential of enterprise in the context of marketing management, which, on the one hand, is comprehensive, and on the other hand, it is not informationally overloaded. The proposed methodical approach to assessing the marketing potential is implemented in several stages: assessment of both generalized and partial indicators; qualitative assessment of indicators according to a 9-point scale; calculation of the integral assessment of the marketing potential of the enterprise and interpretation of the results of the calculation. Approbation of the methodical approach to assessing the marketing potential in the context of marketing management was carried out for the fuel and energy complex enterprise located in the western region of Ukraine. According to the results of marketing potential calculations, the company had the average, close to high (2020) and high (2019 and 2021) levels of potential. Prospect for further research in this direction is the development of a strategy for the development of enterprise in the context of marketing management.
The article is aimed at developing a scientific-methodical approach to the identification of sources of competitive advantages, taking into account the specifics of enterprises in the retail trade ...sector. The development and transformation of approaches to identifying sources of competitive advantage within the institutional, market and resource concepts is considered. The main provisions of scientific thought on this problem are defined and the observance of the resource approach is substantiated. A methodical approach to identification of the existing sources of competitive advantages and potential of their development in retail enterprises is proposed. As a basis, the following general scientific principles are allocated: complexity, security, comparability, information sufficiency, orientation towards creating the bigger consumer value. The stages of implementation of evaluation-identification procedures are characterized. The directions of identification of the sources of competitive advantages are determined as follows: provision of labor and commodity resources, capital, level of management, capabilities of staff. The stage of formation of the information base is characterized. The choice of research objects is substantiated, taking into account the dual nature of competitive advantages and the sectoral specifics of trade enterprises. The quantitative and qualitative correspondence of both the potential and the realized advantages within each resource-competent plane of the enterprise’s potential is determined. The conditions for identifying sources of competitive advantages and their corresponding target development benchmarks are defined. The proposed methodical instrumentarium was tested at the trade network enterprises of the city of Kharkiv. The competitive position of enterprises according to available sources, the level of their involvement in the processes of creating competitive advantages are specified; recommendations on the ways of their formation and development are made.

Time constraints and complexity, therefore, emphasize the necessity of supporting humans in planning modern production systems.
Especially the determination of the production sequence holds immense potential and tends to get even more complex within specific production technologies. Exemplarily, this article focuses on welding sequences. Here, domain knowledge from product development and production planning needs to be holistically integrated. Furthermore, implicit, historic knowledge needs to be formalized and used in today’s planning tasks.
This article introduces a methodical approach and a corresponding toolchain to derive optimal production sequences from customer product data which is validated using welding processes. For this, firstly, a reference system is build up consisting of historic product data (e.g. part list, CAD data) and corresponding production system characteristics (e.g. number and specifications of machines). The main aspect is to use similarities between the new product variant and assemblies from the reference system, to determine implications of product specifications on the process sequence. Overall, such restrictions can be displayed using Model-Based Systems Engineering. Relevant information (e.g. weld seam lengths) can be used to compute the optimal weld seam order regarding minimal cycle times, for example. This requires a parametric encoding of product and production system. In a nutshell, this approach covers the automated derivation of an optimal production sequence for new product variants, based on system information and product similarities, to tackle time constraints and complexity by suggesting initial planning drafts.

The purpose of the article is to develop a methodical approach to assessing the consequences of crises of non-economic origin and their synergistic effect for Ukraine. The article analyzes ...contemporary approaches to identifying the economic consequences of crises of natural, biological and military origin and shows that the situation in Ukraine is characterized by a layering of consequences of crises of both military and biological origin, which complicates the assessment. A classification of the consequences of crises of non-economic origin is proposed, which includes the scope of manifestation of consequences, pace and sequence, scale, duration of impact and time of occurrence, and is aimed at choosing methods for assessing and predicting the consequences. A schematic diagram of a scientific-methodical approach to assessing the consequences of crises of non-economic origin has been developed, which involves an assessment that is carried out in four dimensions: the direction of assessment (in accordance with the sphere of manifestations of the crisis), the subjective-objective (in accordance with the methods of assessment used), the temporal (in accordance with the stages of the emergence and unfolding of the crisis), and macro-mesoeconomic (in accordance with the scale of the crisis) dimensions, and thus allows to form a cognitive map of the consequences of a crisis of a certain etiology. It is shown that for Ukraine in the current crisis, it is expedient to single out two stages of assessment: the 1st – the deployment of the pandemic, the 2nd – military aggression against the background of the pandemic, as well as the use of expert assessment methods at the second stage. Based on the analysis of world experience, indicators for assessing the consequences of the crisis are proposed. The developed scientific-methodical approach allows to identify the most vulnerable sectors of the economy, to define causal relationships in the process of spreading in the economy and social sphere of the country of the crisis caused by both the pandemic and military aggression, is of universal nature, and can be used for researching the crises of various non-economic origins, also for developing a system for monitoring and preventing the spread of crises.
It is determined that in order to ensure the competitiveness of domestic enterprises it is necessary to activate their innovative development. It is defined that making effective management decisions ...in the innovative sphere requires the formation of a instrumentarium for comprehensive evaluation. Therefore, the article is aimed at developing a methodical approach to evaluating the level of innovative development of enterprise on the basis of an integral indicator, based on the measurement of the generalizing indicators of the financial, economic, production and technology, scientific, technical, market, labor, information, ecological and social components of innovative development. The ultimate sequence of evaluating the level of innovative development of enterprise is presented. Each of the seven stages of the evaluation, from setting a goal to building up an integral indicator of development, is reasoned and detailed. A methodical approach to evaluating the level of innovative development of enterprise, which consists of three blocks, is proposed. The preparatory block includes an aggregate of all activities that precede the immediate calculations. The implementation unit consists of selecting the most resulting indicators for each of the eight functional subsystems, establishing an algorithm for calculating them and substantiating critical values. The resulting block is a set of measures to calculate the chosen system of evaluation indicators, systematize and analyze the results, and provide recommendations to improve the status of innovation activity of enterprise. The feasibility of applying the proposed methodical approach, which allows to thoroughly examine the process of innovative development the enterprise and to make informed and grounded managerial decisions regarding this process, is substantiated.
The article's purpose is to develop a methodical approach to improving financial security, which takes into account the acceleration of reproducing processes on Ukraine's device of engineering ...enterprises. This approach is based on multi-cellular vector optimization. It allows us to determine the optimal values of current assets' manifestations and net profit dynamics and set the optimal correlation between them. Approbation of a methodical approach to improving financial security and acceleration of reproducing processes on the example of Ukraine's four engineering enterprises was performed. Financial statement data for eight periods were used to build optimization vectors. To improve financial security and accelerate the reproducing processes of Ukraine's engineering enterprises, certain volumes of working assets, periods of their turnover, their marginal value taking into account different financing sources, and maximum net profit at certain manifestations of the dynamics of current assets are established. In implementing the methodical approach to improving financial security and accelerating the reproducing processes in engineering enterprises' practical activities, highly qualified personnel occupy a significant role and place. The powerful toolkit of their provision is material stimulation (an increase of wages, provision of premiums) and establishment of relations in the team (social justice in the department); the opportunity to advance on the career ladder; respect for employees by management; frank and friendly relationships at all levels of management; participation in corporate holidays of all employees. Therefore, the study's further direction is developing a methodical approach to improving the financial security of engineering enterprises, taking into account personnel support.
The article is aimed at developing a theoretical and methodical approach to assessing the demand for higher education in Ukraine. Educational qualification levels, characterized by a specific range ...of information users, are analyzed. Accordingly, it is natural for every user to form a certain information environment, which can be useful and interesting for one level, but not in demand for another. Therefore, when learning environment coordinators develop a communication strategy, it is necessary to clearly understand, which level it is designed for. Thus, the issue of establishing a classification of learning environment coordinators, who will provide training for education seekers at different levels, is relevant. It is noted that the concept of demand for higher education should be differentiated between the demand in society and the demand among i education seekers. The choice of "fashionable" specialties without taking into account the needs of the labor market leads to increase in the disparity of the workload per vacancy for certain professional groups. In order to quantify the demand for higher education, it is proposed to use the coefficient of demand for higher education in society (CDHES). Necessity to take into account many factors influencing the demand for higher education in society has led us to choosing an integrated method, which is normally used to measure the impact of factors in multiplicative, index, additive index models. The coefficients suggested, in our opinion, will be important for higher education institutions (HEIs) wishing to develop a communication strategy for both the short and long term. The importance of such coefficients can be explained by the fact that the patterns and trends identified during the study of their dynamics can serve as an information field for the HEI management service when outlining key aspects in developing a new communication strategy or improving the existing one. The fundamental difference between the proposed coefficients and the already existing ones lies in the fact that the former take into account not only the dynamics of the labor market and employment opportunities, but also the economic feasibility of education costs, and calculation of the payback prospects of receiving higher education.
The article studies great importance of livestock products for human body and considers the types of fodder used in animal feeding. The data on ten leading regions in mixed fodder production ...(Belgorod region, Voronezh region, Chelyabinsk region, Tambov region, Krasnodar region, Leningrad region, Republic of Mordovia, Kursk region, Stavropol region, Penza region) has been given. The historical aspect of mixed fodder production in Russia has been presented and advantage of mini-mills in increasing the volume of mixed fodder production shown. The methodical approach to estimating economic expediency of purchase and use of mixed fodders for animal feeding has been offered and necessity of detailed economic calculations on each concrete variant of purchased mixed fodders use noted. Possible variants of mini-feed mills location have been highlighted considering advanced mini-feed mills of various capacities available in the domestic market.
An investigation of scientific articles on innovation in small and medium-sized companies globally was carried out, the objective was to determine the techniques, qualitative and quantitative ...approaches applied in studies of those companies published in Scopus in the period between 1999 and 2019. In addition, through social network analysis, trends were identified in the period 2020-2022. For this, a content analysis of 62 articles in Scopus journals between 1999 and 2019 was carried out, as well as a network analysis of 1,091 articles that address innovation in small and medium-sized companies. The results showed in the first period are carried out mainly through quantitative studies and the most used techniques are questionnaires, followed by econometric models. Regarding network analysis, it is identified that the trends of the last period are the innovation of the business model, circular economy, green innovation, Covid 19, manufacturing, technological innovation, digital transformation and Vietnam. In conclusion, it stands out that the research in technological innovation is applied and this type of companies were relevant in the pandemic and were forced to restructure and change production models incorporating digital transformation
Se realizó una investigación de artículos científicos sobre innovación en las pequeñas y medianas empresas a nivel global, planteando como objetivo determinar las técnicas, enfoques cualitativos y cuantitativos aplicados en los estudios de estas empresas publicados en Scopus en el periodo de 1999 al 2019, además a través del análisis de redes sociales se identificaron las tendencias en el periodo 2020-2022. Para esto se realizó un análisis de contenido de 62 artículos en revistas Scopus entre 1999 y 2019, así como el análisis de redes de 1.091 artículos que abordan innovación en las pequeñas y medianas empresas. Los resultados muestran que la investigación en el primer periodo se realiza mayoritariamente a través de estudios cuantitativos siendo las técnicas más utilizadas los cuestionarios, seguidos de los modelos econométricos. En cuanto al análisis de redes se identifica que las tendencias del último periodo son la innovación del modelo de negocio, economía circular, innovación verde, Covid-19, manufactura, innovación tecnológica, transformación digital y Vietnam. Como conclusión se destaca que la investigación de innovación tecnológica es de carácter aplicada y que este tipo de empresas tuvieron relevancia en la pandemia viéndose obligadas a la reestructuración y cambio de modelos productivos incorporando la transformación digital.
The article develops a methodical approach to assessing the management level of the tourism and recreational potential in the Kharkiv region, taking into account its existing business capabilities. ...It is noted that tourist resources in Ukraine influence greatly both the regional and national economy development. That is, determining the management level of the tourism and recreational potential in Ukraine’s regions is one of the main current tasks, as it is necessary to identify the existing reserves and organizational shortcomings in the tourism and recreation management. It is noted that the Kharkiv region has always had a strong economic, scientific, technological and production potential. At the same time, unfortunately, little attention has been paid to the development of tourism and recreational activities, despite the fact that the Kharkiv region is definitely among the top five by the quantitative performance indices for tourism entities of varied ownership. The article informs that the analysis of tourist flows shows an increase in the number of Ukrainian citizens turning to the tourism services employees, in general, and in the Kharkiv region, in particular. To assess the uptake of the existing tourism and recreational potential, the article suggests to introduce the following indicators of the tourism services level: the coverage of the Kharkiv region population by domestic tourism services; the coverage of the Kharkiv region population by outbound tourism services; territorial accessibility by average estimated distance; territorial accessibility by the object area; assortment availability; the service provision of the population; the growth dynamics of the service provision of the population (compared to the previous year). The assessment carried out has revealed some drawbacks in managing the tourism and recreational potential in the Kharkiv region. The author of the article has come to conclusion that no real level of investment exists, which could hinder the development of tourism in the Kharkiv region. A study by the World Tourism and Travel Council (WTTC) shows that every million dollars invested in the tourism industry provides the highest return in terms of jobs and subsequent contributions to GDP, if compared to other sectors of economy, no matter the country.
