The article deals with the issues of assessing the level of a construction company financial security. It is determined that the specificity of the construction enterprises activity and their diverse ...financial relations system require the formation of an appropriate system for certain financial interests protection against existing and potential internal and external threats, that is reflected in the approaches to the definition of “enterprise financial security”. The system of an enterprise financial security is proposed and the existing methodical approaches to assessing the level of enterprise financial security are generalized. The methodical approach to assessing the level of construction company financial security on the example of JSC “Trust Zhytlobud-1” is developed, which allows to distinguish factors-indicators that influence that level, to rank them and to calculate the integral indicator of financial security, which determines its level. As a result of the assessment it was determined that Economic crisis in Ukraine 2013—2014 caused a fall in the level of JSC “Trust Zhytlobud-1” financial security, but the successful financial policy of the company management led to a substantial increase in the financial security level. The application of the proposed methodological approach to assessing the level of a construction company financial security will enable the enterprises management to respond in a timely manner to the deterioration of the economic entity financial condition as well as the negative trends that may develop in the course of the business entity’s activity.
The article is aimed at analyzing the theoretical and methodological provisions of the theories and concepts of transnationalization, determining their differences, characteristics, and conditions of ...formation. The processes of transnationalization have been studied in terms of leading economic theories. The relationship between the categories of «globalization», «internationalization» and «transnationalization» has been analyzed. According to results of the carried out study, the article defines that transnational corporations have emerged as a result of globalization. It has been found that the transnationalization process is acquiring new essential features that impact not only the world economy but also the economy of the corporation’s home country. Based on the analysis of leading economic theories and conceptions of transnationalization, it is suggested that they be systematized into four theoretical-methodological approaches: evolutionary, structural-functional, strategic-multifocal, institutional.
The article develops a methodological approach to the assessment of socio-economic development of the Chuvash Republic, which allows to consider the factors with heterogeneous metrics. The scientific ...novelty of the study lies in the combination of methods used and the sequence of stages implemented: (1) index analysis of thirty-two indicators divided into seven macro-regional blocks (income, labor, business, ecology, social, prospects, finance); (2) development of formulas for each of them and calculation of integral indicators characterizing their dynamics; (3) development of a formula to determine the rate of socio-economic development; (4) one hundred graphs for forecasting socio-economic development were constructed; (5) thirty-one legal and regulatory acts were analyzed and the dependence by year between the indicator of the rate of socio-economic development developed by the authors and the number of legal and regulatory acts implemented in the country and the region was revealed; (6) a refined classification of the rate of socio-economic development was proposed. Having determined the current situation (2020 is a state close to sustainable—the rate of 99.5%, respectively), and based on the calculated forecast values of the rate of socio-economic development of the Chuvash Republic, it is possible to influence this process depending on the objectives for the medium term, taking the necessary regulatory legal acts, aimed at financing specific macroeconomic blocks. This methodical approach is a universal calculation tool and has great potential for further research. It can be used to assess not only the impact of certain indicators on socio-economic development, it is also applicable to other sectors and spheres of activity.
Within CONNECTING Nature, we are dealing with developing innovative nature-based solutions (NBS) for climate change adaptation, health and well-being, social cohesion and sustainable economic ...development in European cities. In order to enable “learning by comparing” and “generating new knowledge” from multiple NBS related studies, a novel data and knowledge base is needed which requires a specified methodological approach for its development. This paper provides conceptual and methodological context and techniques for constructing such a data and knowledge base that will systematically support the process of NBS monitoring and assessment:•A methodology presents the comprehensive, multi-step approach to the NBS data and knowledge development that helps to guide work and influence the quality of an information included.•The paper describes the methodology and main steps/phases for developing a large data and knowledge base of NBS that will allow further systematic review.•The suggested methodology explains how to build NBS related databases from the conceptualization and requirements phases through to implementation and maintenance. In this regard, such a methodology is iterative, with extensive NBS stakeholders’ and end-user's involvement that are packaged with reusable templates or deliverables offering a good opportunity for success when used by practitioners and other end-users.•The NBS data and knowledge base gathers information about different NBS models and generations into one easy-to-find, easy-to-use place and provides detailed descriptions of each of the 1490 NBS cases from urban centers in Europe.•The data and knowledge base thus helps users identify the best and most appropriated NBS model/type for addressing the particular goals and, at the same time, considers the local context and potential.•The data obtained can be used for the further meta-analysis by applying statistics or searching for specific sample cases and thus enables to generate and expand the knowledge from multiple NBS related studies, in both qualitative and quantitative ways.

In an unstable financial and economic, political and social context, a number of Ukrainian banks demonstrate downtrends in their profitability, liquidity, and solvency rates. With that, the financial ...health and the growth vector of the whole banking sector of the country in the strategic perspective precisely depends on the quality of measures taken to ensure the financial security of a banking institution.The article analyzes the concept of financial security of a bank from the standpoint of protective, dynamic, resource-functional, competitive and systemic approaches. The authors substantiate that the financial security of the banking system as a whole and that of an individual bank is an integral part of the financial security of the country. In addition, three methodological approaches to assessing the financial security of the country's banking sector are identified and described, namely instrumental, system and target-oriented and criterial ones. Based on theoretical and methodological analysis of scientific works and methodological approaches, a system of research and methodological support for the bank's financial security is proposed.

At the same time, an author’s approach to an integrated assessment of the quality of customs services has been proposed, which includes the principles of assessment, assessment directions, the method for calculating the overall integral quality assessment and specific indicators, which can be used to evaluate each of the directions.

A methodical approach to controlling of the export and import activities of enterprises is provided in the article. The authors propose the ways of using the results of controlling related to export and import activities at the enterprise in order to implement business strategies and improving the information systems existing at most industrial enterprises through the creation of the structure of controlling.

An ...algorithm of methodical approach to diagnostics of innovative management of development of enterprises of hotel and restaurant industry is elaborated, the purpose of which is formation of analytical basis for making effective managerial decisions for overcoming crisis and further adaptive development. Components of innovative management of development of hotel and restaurant enterprises as well as their essence are suggested, their necessary quantity to obtain an efficient result of analysis is determined. An aggregate of indicators of the components for carrying out a complex diagnostics of innovative management of development of enterprises of hotel and restaurant industry is formed and the results of calculations of the general integral indicator of the innovative management of development of hotel and restaurant industry enterprises in 2007–2016 are provided.
The strategic approach to sustainable territorial development precisely assesses all regional disparities. Implementing this approach allows considering the interests and requirements of all ...stakeholders and identifying priority areas for regional development. A detailed analysis of existing regional development strategies and programs confirms the active region interaction with numerous organizations, groups, and individuals. The growing role of stakeholders in shaping regional policy determines the necessity of the research. Proposed conceptual approach will contribute determining the stakeholders’ interaction effectiveness in ensuring sustainable territorial development. Algorithm for analyzing the stakeholders’ interaction effectiveness was worked out based upon critical analysis of the scientific professionals’ main approaches of identifying and comparing the interests of stakeholders’ sectoral and territorial groups in the context of solving the region existing problems. A feature of the proposed measure scheme of the stakeholder interaction efficiency is the synthesis of quantitative and qualitative assessment of the stakeholder interaction effectiveness using the method of expert assessments, statistical analysis, and fuzzy sets. The practical part of the developed approach to determining the effectiveness of stakeholder interaction allowed to assess the level of regional development programs implementation in the Kharkiv region and to identify the synergistic effect of stakeholder interaction. The made conclusions and recommendations regarding the solution of region existing problems have found practical application in predicting scenarios for the territory development.

The complex of issues connected with research of development of informatization of the world ...countries in the conditions of globalization is considered. The development of informatization in the global economic space, which facilitates opening of new markets for international trade enterprises, international transnational corporations and other organizations, which not only provide exports, but also create production capacities for local producers. The methodical approach which includes three stages together with formation of the input information on the status of informatization of the global economic development of the world countries has been proposed.
