The questionnaire mainly consisted of questions to be answered in a free-description style. Responses were quantitatively and inductively analyzed (number of respondents: 138). Results: Receiving support that ensures security and dignity, support to improve life skills, and support for life-fulfillment through home-visit psychiatric nursing, the community-dwelling people with mental disorders realized its values, represented by a sense of security and change of life for the better. Conclusion: The respondents considered home-visit psychiatric nursing as a useful support approach for their daily lives. Home-visit psychiatric nursing should be improved from the perspective of people with mental disorders, and provide effective support approaches centered upon them.

ODGJ lose their job and find it difficult to find a job. Omah Barokah (OBAH) is a business established to provide opportunities for ODGJ to work and be productive. OBAH has been running for 2 years and needs assistance to increase employee motivation, expand marketing and financial management. This service activity aims to improve the quality of OBAH, which is a food business located in Kembaran Hamlet, Tamantirto, Kasihan, Bantul. Participants are 8 employees and 2 managers. The service team compiled a module for improving the OBAH business. The activity was carried out for 1 month in the form of providing motivation to work through online videos for 3 meetings. Online marketing assistance through website creation. Program results are measured by increasing employee motivation and improving the quality of online marketing. The results of the training will continue to be carried out by the manager so that the OBAH business continues to grow.
Every citizen, including mental hospital patients, has the right to legal protection, as they are vulnerable to experiencing acts of violence by medical personnel. This study aims to analyze the ...legal protection for people with mental health conditions who once experienced acts of violence committed by medical personnel. This study used sociological research methods with a descriptive qualitative research approach. This study used primary and secondary sources of data. The authors collected data through observation and interviews. The data in this research were analyzed and then described as narrative texts. The results showed that people with mental health conditions could obtain legal protection from acts of violence committed by medical personnel if they truly experienced bad treatment. It ensures that people with mental health conditions obtain their rights as citizens to be equally treated before the law. In undergoing their tasks, medical personnel must follow the SOP (Standard Operating Procedures), which includes prioritizing patient safety and comfort to keep patients from rebelling when their illnesses recur.
BACKGROUND: Some common problems experienced by all people with mental disorders (ODGJ) are impaired personal hygiene activities including bathing, dressing up, eating, and toileting. Psychiatric ...nurses must, therefore, possess the ability and knowledge on how to meet the personal hygiene requirements for these patients by providing caregiving with behavioral therapy (economic tokens), through behavior modification, using positive reinforcement.
AIM: This study aimed to apply behavioral therapy (economic tokens) to the ability of ODGJ in the fulfillment of personal hygiene within Medan Sunggal subdistrict.
MATERIALS AND METHODS: The research type used was quasi-experiment with the one-group pre-test-post-test approach, while the procedure was performed by providing nursing actions in the form of behavioral therapy (economic tokens). This study involved a total of 31 respondents with mental disorders ODGJ, obtained through total sampling in the unified Medan Sunggal subdistrict.
RESULTS: The use of behavioral therapy (economic tokens) was found to improve the ability of ODGJ to carry out personal hygiene, with a mean difference of 1.19 (from 1.87 to 3.06).
CONCLUSIONS: Psychiatric nurses, therefore, ought to motivate and help accompany families to monitor the personal hygiene fulfillment ability of family members with mental disorders.

The present study tries to understand the problems and obstacles in the treatment of people with mental disorders and also to recognize the strategies of social workers, in order to improve the well-being of these people. In this research, qualitative method and content analysis have been used to analyze the data. For this purpose, 18 social workers and 7 clinical psychologists were selected through purposive sampling and in-depth and semi-structured interviews were conductedThe results include 8 main themes including performance change, awareness vacuum, stigma, abandonment policy and legal vacuum, commodification of treatment, structural barriers, and social work strategies. The study sought to identify the strategies used by families of people with mental disorders to cope with psychological pressures and the most common psychological and social issues they face, as ...well as the differences in these strategies based on variables like age, family income, and care education. (311) Irada Complex for Mental Health families with mental illness were studied. The study found that families of people with mental disorders had average strategies for dealing with psychological stress, as the arithmetic mean was (1.09) for the total score of the scale of strategies for dealing with family stress. Avoiding escape came in first place with an average score, and psychological and social problems were low. The study found that families of people with mental disorders have different strategies for dealing with psychological and social issues based on age (older people had better strategies than younger people), economic level (higher people had better strategies than low and medium people), and The high category, the educational level, and the number of years of mental disorder, which favoured the category of more than ten years, followed by the category of less than five years, and the family's economic level, which did not differ. According to the results, psychological and social problems had a statistically significant impact on the strategies used by families of people with mental disorders to deal with psychological pressures, explaining 54.1% of the variation in those strategies. In this study, the effectiveness of a cognitive–behavioral treatment designed for relatives of people with ...mental health problems was evaluated. The sample comprised 50 individuals: 30 in the experimental group, who completed assessment measures in pre–posttreatment and 6 months later, and 20 participants in the control group, who were assessed at baseline and 6 months later. In the experimental group, significant improvements in well-being were observed following the treatment and 6 months later, when compared to the control group, which did not demonstrate any significant changes in outcomes between the baseline and the second assessment 6 months later. This program has proven to be effective as a treatment for the relatives of people with mental disorders. Finally, several topics that may contribute to future research are discussed.

Background: Mental hospitals as places to rehabilitation people with mental illness(PMI) in Indonesia are limited in numbers and do not meet with the number of PMI.The society may contribute in ...facilitating recovery and rehabilitation place for PMI including Islamic boarding school. Some Islamic boarding schools provide rehabilitation for PMI to help with recovery process. Recovery is an important aspect to assess the success of PMI rehabilitation. Nevertheless, there has been no study on Islamic boarding school’s caregivers’ perception on PMI recovery.Purpose: This study aims to explore recovery perception of caregivers treating PMI in Islamic boarding school and factors affecting recovery.Methods: Data are acquired from 19 caregivers from three Islamic boarding schools providing rehabilitation for PMI with Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The data analyzed using descriptive analysis.Result: Having a good communication is a recovery criterion that is mentioned themost by caregivers. There are three biggest factors affecting recovery based on the caregivers such as prayers or religion followed by social support from family and environment and also doing activities.Conclusion: The results may depict the PMI recovery so that the health care providers can provide interventions that can support the recovery process in PMI.
