In this study, the scheduling problem of air traffic controllers (ATCo) providing area control services in Turkey is discussed. Airspace is divided into multiple sectors, as controllers can control a ...limited number of aircraft in a given time period.The area control service provided for the flights at the en-route phase includes both of the transit and domestic flights.The traffic density in these sectors varies according to hourly zones, day-night hours and seasons. As the traffic density increases, the workload also increases. In addition, seasonal differences and weather conditions are factors that affect the workload. In the study, a two-stage mathematical model is proposed in order to balance the workload distribution of the controllers, considering the estimated traffic demand and weather conditions in the sectors. In the first stage, shift assignments were made to balance the total workload of the teams consisting of a certain number of people in a ten-day period. In the second stage, the controllers were scheduled to balance the workloads of the teams in each shift. In addition to the working conditions of the controllers such as work and rest hours, the difference of experienced and inexperienced ATCo is also considered.
Los accidentes laborales en el personal de salud se presentan como consecuencia de los estresores de la organización del trabajo. Estos estresores afectan la satisfacción laboral y la productividad. ...El objetivo de la presente revisión es reportar la evidencia científica sobre la relación entre el accidente laboral y los estresores de la organización del trabajo en el personal de salud, desde la perspectiva de la seguridad y salud en el trabajo. En la recolección de información se identificaron inicialmente 190 artículos, de los cuales se excluyeron siete por duplicación; se revisaron 183 títulos y resúmenes, descartando 139 de ellos. Luego, se revisaron 44 estudios completos, descartando 17. Por último, fueron incluidos en la revisión 27 estudios que cumplieron con los criterios de elegibilidad. En el sector salud los accidentes laborales se encuentran ligados a factores como la sobrecarga, largas jornadas de trabajo y el turno nocturno, que afectan de forma negativa la salud y el bienestar de los trabajadores. Los estresores de la organización del trabajo, específicamente la sobrecarga laboral, la falta o insuficiencia de recursos humanos y las jornadas extendidas de trabajo, son la principal causa de accidentes de origen laboral en el personal de salud, por ello, es necesario implementar estrategias de prevención y control tendientes al mejoramiento de las condiciones de salud y bienestar de los trabajadores.

yüzdelik, ortalama±standart sapma, Pearson Korelasyon testi, bağımsız gruplar t ve ANOVA testleri
kullanılmıştır. İşyerinde Engelliye Yönelik Tutum puanlarının ilişkisi Pearson korelasyon testi ile, ölçek puanlarının
demografik değişkenlere göre farklılık göstermesi ise bağımsız gruplar t ve

The article presents a tool which diagnosed the level of empowerment in the organization implementing a process organization. The article contains the obtained results of the research, their analysis and assessment of the empowerment level in the analyzed organization and a recommendation for the management board regarding organizational changes. Celem artykułu jest ocena ryzyka personalnego w wybranych przedsiębiorstwach hotelarskich. Część teoretyczna opracowania jest wynikiem wykorzystania metody badawczej desk research. W części ...empirycznej przedstawiono wyniki wywiadów przeprowadzonych z menedżerami personalnymi w pięciu hotelach zlokalizowanych w województwie zachodniopomorskim i dokonano oceny poziomu ryzyka personalnego w badanych obiektach. Respondenci oceniali 2 elementy: prawdopodobieństwo wystąpienia zdarzeń ryzykownych oraz wielkość ich skutków dla hotelu. Poziom ryzyka personalnego jest iloczynem tych dwóch wyrażonych punktowo parametrów. Ze względu na ograniczoną liczbę podmiotów badawczych artykuł ma charakter analizy studium przypadku. Stąd też rezultatów badań nie można uogólniać na całą branżę. Mogą one jednak stanowić podstawę do dyskusji nad zjawiskiem ryzyka personalnego w hotelarstwie i jego wpływu na efektywność pracy, a w rezultacie na funkcjonowanie całej organizacji.
Purpose: The paper presents the results of the review of literature and of the legal regulations in the field of the protection of critical infrastructure in Poland during the COVID-19 pandemic. The ...assumed main goal was to determine the requirements for protecting elements catalogued in 11 critical infrastructure systems, in the face of the risk of losing key personnel and the need to maintain continuity of critical infrastructure operations. Introduction: The first part of the paper discusses the essence and methods of identifying critical infrastructure in Poland. Further on, possible clauses were identified of an epidemic and its impact on individual critical infrastructure systems, with particular focus on the fact that if an epidemic occurs, there may be a temporary or long-term shortage of personnel essential to the business continuity of the facilities, installations and elements included in critical infrastructure. Then, the legal solutions for maintaining the operating continuity of critical infrastructure during COVID-19 implemented in 2020 were presented, pointing to legal tools aimed at ensuring the resilience of critical infrastructure by securing key resource, i.e. the employees. Methodology: Literature research and qualitative analysis were carried out of the legal acts announced in 2020 related to enhancing the resilience of critical infrastructure, and a review was carried out of the recommendations and guidelines addressed to critical infrastructure operators, which were issued in March and September of 2020. The obtained results were analysed using the following: publications, acts of the Polish law, recommendations and guidelines published on the websites of governmental institutions, interviews with independent experts. Conclusions: The first regulations on specific arrangements meant to prevent, counteract and combat COVID-19, other contagious diseases and crisis situations caused by them did not contain any provisions that would be supportive of the protective capacity of the critical infrastructure elements in Poland. The first document in this respect, RCB guidelines of 16 March 2020 have not been formalised yet in the legal system. The so-called Shield 2.0 of 31 March 2021 introduced to the 15x of the COVID-19 Act the tools for specific employers entitled to take advantage of new, previously unavailable opportunities to ensure the continuity of services. Those entitlements made it possible to change the work system or work schedule of employees, to instruct them to work overtime, as well as to refuse to grant annual leave or to cancel it. Resumo Objetivo Comparar o número de horas da demanda de cuidados de enfermagem ao paciente no pós-operatório de transplante renal, por meio dos instrumentos de Sistema de Classificação de Pacientes ...(SCP) e do Escore de Atividade de Enfermagem (NAS). Métodos Estudo de Coorte Prospectivo. A população foi composta pelos pacientes submetidos ao transplante renal com doador falecido no Hospital São Lucas da PUCRS, a avaliação ocorreu de 6 a 24 horas no pós-operatório imediato, nos dias subsequentes até a alta da UTI Cirúrgica e no 15º dia pós-operatório ou no dia da alta (o que tenha ocorrido primeiro). Resultados Completaram o estudo 73 pacientes, a média do SCP na primeira avaliação foi de 31,6 (cuidado intermediário), já no NAS a média foi de 86,5% (cuidado intensivo). Na última avaliação a pontuação encontrada no SCP foi de 15,5 (cuidado mínimo), no NAS a mediana foi de 50,1% (cuidado semi-intensivo). Não houve diferença significativa quando comparadas as pontuações obtidas na alta da UTI cirúrgica e na alta hospitalar. Conclusão Os achados deste estudo sugerem que há diferença entre o número de horas da demanda de cuidados ao transplantado renal no pós-operatório quando comparados os instrumentos SCP e NAS, e isso repercute também no tipo de cuidado.
Sağlık kuruluşlarının kalitesi, bünyelerinde istihdam edilen çalışanların ne ölçüde bilgili, nitelikli ve verimli olduğu ile ölçülmektedir. Bu anlamda sağlık çalışanı yanı sıra teknik, yemek, ...temizlik personeli gibi kurum bünyesindeki tüm çalışanların katılımıyla uygun hizmet içi/dışı ve teknoloji temelli eğitimlerle, yetkinlikleri desteklenmelidir. Bu bağlamda da eğitime yapılan yatırım; bireye, örgüte aynı zamanda topluma yapılan yatırım olarak değerlendirilmektedir. Bu çalışmada kalite temelinde sağlık personelinin eğitimi ve sağlık profesyonellerine yönelik eğitim yöntemleri irdelenecektir.
Wstęp. Nagłe zatrzymanie krążenia to według definicji nieoczekiwane ustanie funkcji serca. Cechami charakterystycznymi są: brak reakcji na bodźce, brak wyczuwalnego tętna i bezdech bądź oddech ...agonalny. Niektóre źródła, za NZK, uznają również znaczne upośledzenie pracy serca. Kluczowe znaczenie w przypadku tego poważnego problemu medycznego ma natychmiastowa i odpowiednia pomoc.
Cel. Głównym celem pracy jest analiza postaw personelu pielęgniarskiego wobec nieskutecznej reanimacji.
Materiał i metody. Przedmiotem badań są postawy pielęgniarek wobec nieskutecznej reanimacji z powodu nagłego zatrzymania krążenia. Dla potrzeb pracy skorzystano z metody sondażu diagnostycznego, autorskiego kwestionariusza ankiety, standaryzowanego kwestionariusza Mini COPE oraz metod statystycznych.
Wyniki. Analiza zebranych danych dała wyniki ukazujące postawy wobec nieskutecznej reanimacji. Nie potwierdzono istotnej zależności pomiędzy wiekiem, stażem pracy, wykształceniem i płcią a postawą prezentowaną przez badanych. Nie potwierdzono również hipotezy o najczęstszym występowaniu postawy poszukiwania wsparcia w sytuacji stresowej jaką jest nieskuteczna reanimacja. W badaniu strategia aktywnego radzenia sobie i akceptacji była dominująca.
Wnioski. Spośród wszystkich postaw reprezentowanych przez personel pielęgniarski wobec nieskutecznej reanimacji dominującą była postawa aktywnego radzenia sobie. Ponieważ badania dowodzą, że wiek, wykształcenie, czy staż pracy nie wpływają istotnie na sposób radzenia sobie ze stresem wynikłym z nieskutecznej reanimacji, powstaje realna potrzeba pogłębienia zagadnienia i stworzenia narzędzi do wsparcia emocjonalnego i instrumentalnego personelu stykającego się z problemem.

Introduction and purpose: COVID-19 is a highly contagious disease that is caused by a new strain of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus (type 2 acute respiratory syndrome virus). Globally, as of 14 July ...2021, there have been more than 4 million deaths and almost 190 million confirmed cases of infection. Mental health disorders are sets of behaviours, ways of thinking or perceiving and other mental activities and relations with other people which are a source of suffering or impediments to the individual functioning of the affected person. The most common mental health disorders are anxiety disorders, insomnia, depression and somatic disorders.
State of knowledge: The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted people's lives around the world through the rapid spread of the disease, high mortality and negative health effects. Over time, there is growing public concern that health systems may become overburdened and that adequate medical care will not be available to everyone affected by the disease. There are also concerns that isolation and reduced mobility will be long-term with serious consequences for mental health and well-being.
Summary: There is already evidence of the negative psychological effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on children and adolescents, as well as the elderly who have been isolated, making these individuals more susceptible to developing long-term psychiatric disorders.
