Mathematical anxiety is an emotional response to the entire mathematical activity that affects students' mathematical to psychological abilities. This anxiety is influenced by various factors, such ...as negative perspectives on mathematics, experiences of failing in learning mathematics, and others. Research data at one Christian High School in Tangerang shows that class X social studies students experience mathematical anxiety where students have difficulty concentrating, are restless, unconfident, and have headaches when learning mathematics. Anxiety affects students' self-confidence and makes the learning process not optimal, so it needs to be reduced. The selection of the REACT model as a solution to this problem leads to varied, contextual, and collaborative learning. The purpose of this writing is to find out the application of the REACT model in reducing the mathematical anxiety of X social studies students. The method used in the research is descriptive qualitative, where data is collected through questionnaires. The results show that the REACT model stages, namely relating, experiencing, applying, cooperating, and transferring, succeeded in reducing the anxiety of class X social studies students towards learning mathematics. During the application of the model, students are seen concentrating while studying, having confidence, daring to ask questions, and others. Applying the REACT model can be a solution for teachers to manage mathematical anxiety while leading students to realize their identity as imago dei who have been reconciled to God in Jesus Christ. Students are endowed with a Divine capacity to do God's work. Reflecting on the implementation of the REACT model, the author suggests recognizing the characteristics of each student the characteristics and collaborating the REACT model with other learning resources.
Worldwide, there are many people with hearing impairments. Depending on its severity, hearing impairment can be solved using a more or less performant hearing device, according to one’s needs, but in ...the case of a total loss of hearing, these devices are rather expensive and not affordable for everyone. With these situations in mind, we developed a simple application, named Talky, which can be used to assist people with hearing disabilities, mostly total hearing loss, in order to facilitate the communication process with others. Talky is simple to use and may be useful for people who have difficulty speaking.

Background: The quality of instruction significantly influences students' understanding of school mathematics, highlighting the importance of initial teacher education. Concerns about how to enhance ...prospective teachers' pedagogical skills remain significant. This study addresses the scarcity of national investigations on employing REACT strategies in preparing pre-service mathematics teachers.Aim: This study aims to strengthen the conceptual and procedural knowledge of rational numbers among undergraduate mathematics students and develop their abilities to create contextual situations that align with the five interpretations of rational numbers: part-whole, operator, quotient, ratio, and measure.Method: An embedded design was employed, selecting a convenient sample of thirty undergraduates from the mathematics teacher preparation program at the Faculty of Education, Tanta University in Egypt, during the academic year 2022-2023. Data collection involved administering a test to assess participants' conceptual and procedural knowledge and a survey to explore their capabilities in creating contextual situations. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, coupled with qualitative analysis of participants' answers. Results: The adapted training significantly enhanced participants' knowledge of rational numbers, evidenced by a large effect size (Cohen’s d = 2.71). Furthermore, participants' ability to generate contextual scenarios improved, demonstrated by the diversity of contexts and the inclusion of all interpretations of rational numbers in their scenarios. Conclusion: The study demonstrates the effectiveness of REACT strategies in improving prospective mathematics teachers' knowledge and skills. Future research should evaluate the quality of contextual scenarios proposed by prospective teachers across various domains of mathematics.
A 30 mm inner diameter iron-based superconductor (IBS) single pancake coil (SPC) was firstly fabricated and tested under a 24 T background field. This SPC was successfully made using the ...seven-filamentary Ba1−xKxFe2As2 (Ba122) tape by the wind-and-react method. This IBS coil shows the highest Ic value at a magnetic field reported so far. For example, the transport critical current of this Ba122 SPC achieved 35 A at 4.2 K and 10 T, which is about half of that of a short sample. This indicates that the non-insulation winding process together with the stainless steel tape is suitable for an IBS. Even more encouraging is the fact that the Ic of this SPC is still as high as 26 A under a 24 T background field, which is still about 40% of that at zero external magnetic field. These results clearly demonstrate that IBSs are very promising for high-field magnet applications.
In Ukraine, the problem of insufficient use of the state language remains relevant. Due to geopolitical changes, including russian aggression, the importance of the Ukrainian language for the ...country's self-identification has increased. This became the basis for the development of an online service for taking Ukrainian language courses. The web application is designed to improve the Ukrainian language proficiency of Ukrainian citizens by taking relevant courses with mandatory testing of the knowledge gained by completing test tasks. Each course is divided into sections. In each section, the user has the opportunity to watch a video and work through a reference summary. To build the application, a client-server architecture, using web technologies that do not require additional licensing, was chosen. The server side of the application is based on the Apache2 web server and the MySQL database management system. When designing the software application, the SPA architecture was used to provide the user with an experience similar to that of a desktop program. The client side is built according to modern standards for creating a Single-Page Application, meaning that all the necessary code is loaded along with the page or dynamically loaded as needed, usually in response to user actions. To implement the software product, a database consisting of 15 tables was designed. During the design process, it was decided to use the Laravel framework built using the PHP programming language to create a private API, i.e. the backend of the application. To implement the client side, the JavaScript programming language library React is used. At the moment, this is the most popular solution for SPA architecture. The developed application has passed both functional and non-functional testing.

•A dynamic N- and H-involved cyclic reaction pathway proposed for NH3 production.•A dual-path mechanism including chemical looping and thermal catalysis illustrated.•Bottleneck of ...direct NN dissociation bypassed.
The synthesis of ammonia via the Haber-Bosch process using Fe-derived catalysts requires harsh reaction conditions. It is hence meaningful to develop catalysts for low-temperature synthesis of ammonia for industrial application. Herein for the first time, we report that with the synergy between LaN and Ru/ZrH2, NH3 can be synthesized via a dual-path mechanism. The LaN-promoted Ru/ZrH2 catalyst shows exceptionally high NH3 synthesis rate (up to 305 mmolNH3 gRu−1 h−1) at 350 °C under 1 MPa and remarkable durability (tested for 200 h). The outcomes of isothermal surface reaction and a suite of 15N2 and D2 isotopic labeling experiments reveal that the N3− of LaN reacts with H− ions to produce NH3, leaving behind N and H vacancies. The initial state of Ru/xLaN/ZrH2 can be restored by having the N and H entities replenished under the atmosphere adopted for NH3 synthesis. Moreover, based on the results of N2 reaction order, nitrogen K-edge NEXAFS, in situ XPS as well as in situ DRIFTS analyses under a 25%N2-75%D2 atmosphere, it is reckoned that the direct dissociation of N2 does not occur on the LaN-promoted Ru/ZrH2 catalyst while N2 hydrogenation takes place via an associative pathway under mild conditions. For the hydrogenation of N2, an appropriate amount of LaN would induce a synergic effect on the Ru active sites, leading to facile activation and hydrogenation of N2 to *N2H2. Nonetheless, an excess amount of LaN would result in blocking of Ru sites, consequently hindering the formation of *N2H2 and decreasing the catalytic activity. Following the associative and chemical looping pathways, the LaN-promoted Ru/ZrH2 catalyst bypasses the bottleneck of N2 direct dissociation, making the synthesis of NH3 at mild conditions possible.
