Finally, the significance of differences in choosing ready-made clothes according to the variable of binaryclassification ofobesity is also identified.The study sample includes obese women: employees, non-employees and students with the age group (18-50) years.The weights and lengths of the sample have been taken to suit the group of obese women.Aquestionnaire in the form of an open question was distributed among (50) obese womenso as to extract the items of the questionnaire. After that, the questionnaire was distributed among (100) obese women to obtain answers. Thedata were statistically analyzed and the BMI indicated thatthere were four types of obesity for the sample studied: overweight and high obesity, very high obesity, excessive obesity, and obese to the extreme.Itwas called abinary classification. The first type included (42) obese women,whilethe second type included (58) obese women .The bodies of the sample were identified: (22%)of the sample representedshort obese women,the ratio of (68%) represented obese women of medium-length, and the proportion of (10%)represented tall obese women. It has become clear through the recognition of the significance of differences when choosing clothes in general, that they areall statistically significantexcept for the seventh item (the best clothes are those with dark-colors, because they make me look thinner). Besides,there are no individual differencesin the sample responses in favor of the answer (sometimes) at the rate of (5.180).
ResumenEste texto pretende analizar un aspecto concreto de la idea de “convención” en la obra de Robert Venturi: la incorporación del objeto cotidiano a la arquitectura en un contexto, el del Pop, en ...el que parece recuperarse, transformada, la dialéctica del ready-made duchampiano. Se propone así un doble ejercicio de análisis. En la aproximación propuesta se señalarán, en primer lugar, posibles intervenciones que a través de los objetos puedan entenderse como próximas al ready-made, junto a un estudio de posibles variantes en su utilización como recurso. En segunda instancia, se estudian distintos casos en los que el objeto deja de ser un elemento como tal dentro de la naturaleza de la obra para devenir, sin ambages, en su propio motivo formal: arquitectura como ready-made. Esta operativa condujo al estudio, como se analiza en el último apartado, a determinadas paradojas conceptuales.AbstractThis text aims to analyse a specific aspect of the idea of “convention” in the work of Robert Venturi: the inclusion of the everyday object into architecture, in the context of Pop culture, which would seem to re-establish the dialectics of the Duchampian ready-made, albeit transformed. A dual analysis exercise is undertaken. The proposed approach points at, firstly, those interventions by means of objects that may be understood as pertaining to the ready-made, together with a study of possible variants of use of said objects as a resource. In the second instance, different cases are studied in which the item ceases to be distinguishable element within the work, to become a full-blown formal motive on its own: ready-made architecture. This methodology led to the study, as analysed in the last section, of obvious conceptual paradoxes.
ResumenEste texto pretende demostrar la importancia de la integración de los sistemas tipográficos en el proyecto arquitectónico a partir del análisis de la reforma del Grand’s Restaurant ...(Filadelfia, 1962) de Robert Venturi y William Short. Elegir este caso de estudio permite entender el impacto de este recurso en la etapa temprana de Venturi (1962-1969). El tema remite a contenidos y aspectos que, hasta la fecha, permanecen prácticamente inéditos a pesar de los muchos estudios dedicados a la obra y escritos del arquitecto. A pesar de su discreto tamaño y presupuesto, el Grand’s concentró de manera ejemplar tanto aspectos teóricos de la propia investigación de Venturi, como fue, asimismo, precursor de otras corrientes interdisciplinares del momento como Supergraphics. La escritura es aquí un elemento arquitectónico de ‹pleno derecho› que afecta a la interpretación del proyecto, a su carácter simbólico y su entendimiento como integrante del orden y la composición arquitectónicos.AbstractThis article, based on an analysis of the refurbishing of Grand’s Restaurant (Philadelphia, 1962), designed by Robert Venturi and William Short, aims to show the importance of integrating systems of typography into architectural design. Choosing this case study enables the impact of typography on Venturi’s early period (1962-1969) to be examined. The theme involves content and aspects which have remained virtually unexplored to date despite the many studies devoted to Venturi’s architecture and those written by the architect himself. Despite its modest size and budget, Grand’s not only exemplarily condensed theoretical aspects of Venturi’s own investigation but also served as a precursor for other interdisciplinary trends of the time such as Supergraphics. Writing in Grand’s is a ‹fully-fledged› architectural element affecting the design’s interpretation, its symbolic nature and its understanding as part of an architectural order and composition.
İnsanoğlunun günlük yaşamında sıkça karşılaştığı ve dile getirdiği rastlantı sözcüğü; planlı olmayan, tesadüfi ve anlık durum, olgu ve olayların tanımında kullanılan bir kavramdır. Günlük hayatın ...hemen her alanında karşılaşılan bu durum (rastlantı) sanat alanında da kendine yer bulmuş özellikle de 19. yüzyılın sonu, 20. yüzyılın başından itibaren modern sanat akımlarında yaratım eylemi olarak sanatçılar tarafından kullanılmıştır. Çizgi, leke gibi unsurların yanı sıra günlük yaşamda karşılarına çıkan her türlü organik ya da inorganik nesneyi biçim kaygısı güderek ve gütmeyerek bir araya getiren sanatçılar bunlardan kolaj, asamblaj gibi kesme, yapıştırma resimler veya helkelsi formlara dönüştürme çalışmaları yapılmıştır. Diğer taraftan boyaların yüzeylere damlatılması, akıtılması ya da sıçratılmasıyla oluşturulan lekesel izler bilinçli oluşturulmuş biçimsel form aranmaksızın, sanatsal yaratı dünyasına dâhil edilmiştir. Farklı malzemeler kullanılarak sanat eseri yaratma edimi süreç olarak tesadüfi bir şekilde ancak eylem olarak bir oyunu andırması, modern dönemin sanat yaratımına katkı sağlamış, ardından gelen çağdaş sanat süreci ile de önemli etkileşimlere girmiştir. Zira çeşitli yöntemlerin uygulanması sonucu ortaya çıkan özgün eserler, bir noktada rastlantı sonucu ulaşılan görsel, lekesel veya biçimsel sonuçlar oyunun sanata dönüşmesini sağlamıştır. Rastlantısallığı yöneterek (bilinçli) veya içgüdüsel (bilinçsiz), kullanarak yapıtlarına yön veren özgür, coşkulu, an’a odaklı sanatçı, tuvaline lekelerle; sıçratmalarla, rastgele kağıtlar, kartonlar keserek kolajlarla, bedeniyle, iç veya dış mekanlarda oluşturmuş olduğu kurgular/düzenlemelerle ya da hazır nesnelerle doğaçlama şekilde uygulamalar ortaya koymaktadır. Böylelikle sanatçı yapıt üretim sürecinde artık oyun oynamaktadır ve değişen sanat anlayışıyla da birlikte sanat, izleyici merkezli hal alırken sanatçı-izleyici arasında, oyun alanında gerçekleşen bir ‘oyun arkadaşlığı’ meydana gelmektedir. Makalede modernizm sonrası gelişen sanat akımları kapsamında oyunun sanatsal eylemdeki yansımaları olgusu literatür tarama yöntemi ve görsel araştırma yöntemi dahilinde incelenmiştir.
Georg Simmel’s fashion theory is a reference in fashion studies. Yet, analysis of this philosophical-sociological text rarely compares the different versions of 1895, 1905 and 1911. In order to shed ...light on Simmel’s approach, this article examines the different essays in the context of Berlin fashion, which the author could observe during its socio-economic and cultural changes. Following comparison of the texts with each other and the texts with their context, Simmel’s view no longer appears as a rigid theory, but rather as a methodological approach to sociological and historical observation.
This article aims at investigating how the binary dummy-coded gender (female = 1, male = 0) and job position (operator = 1, supervisor = 0) moderate the direct relationship between compensation ...practice and organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB) in the ready-made garments manufacturing industry of Bangladesh. The present study employed the PLS-SEM (partial least square-structural equation modelling) technique to test the reliability and validity (convergent and discriminant) of the measurement scales and to verify the study hypotheses. The study used SPSS version 20 for descriptive analysis and SmartPLS version 3.3.9 for inferential statistical analysis. The results of this cross-sectional study of 121 employees revealed the significant moderating effect of gender and job position in the positive relationship between compensation practice and OCB. The study results also evidenced that the positive relationship between compensation practice and OCB showed stronger for female employees compared to males. Besides, the results equally confirmed that the compensation practice–OCB relationship became stronger for operator-level employees than supervisors. Findings are discussed in consistency with the previous studies and suggestions for future researchers and practitioners are highlighted at the end of this study.

The relevance of the research lies in constant desire to increase the possibilities of using dogwood, in the system of fruit horticulture. The methodological basis for conducting research include the ...method of carruing out an examination of suitability of fruit and berry group varieties for spreading in Ukraine, the method of assessing the quality of fruit and berry products and the state standards of Ukraine for determining the quality of fruits. The original data on the morphology plants and biochemical properties of the fruits of different dogwood varieties selected by Ukrainian scientists have been presented. Attention has been focussed on the content of dry soluble substances, sugars, pectin substances, organic acids, polyphenolic substances as a source of antioxidants. It has been found that the content of dry soluble substances in the fruits of the Stoyan form is at the level of the Olena and Radist varieties, about 18.5%. The Hrafskyi dogwood fruits are characterized by a low content of titrated acids, which results in a balanced taste considering the sugar-acid index (SAI, 5.5). The Hrafskyi form is distinguished by the increased content of pectin substances in the fruits. It has been studied that the form of Stoyan (F-32-5-18) contains the highest amount of polyphenolic substances (944 mg/100 g), while Vydubytskyi contains 274, Vyshgorodskyi – 327, Radist – 375 mg/100 g. The content of polyphenolic substances in the fruits of the Hrafskyi form is 483 mg/100 g, which is almost on a par with the Volodymyrskyi and Lukyanivskyi varieties. The Stoyan and Hrafskyi forms have the highest content of flavonoids - 107.5±4.4 and 102.5±2.0 mg/100 g. It has been found that the fruits of the Hrafskyi form have an above average content of anthocyanins (52.83±1.92 mg/100 g), compared to other varieties. The originality of the study lies in the fact that the knowledge about the morphological characteristics of plants and the biochemical characteristics of the common dogwood fruits, developed by Ukrainian scientists, was expanded. Based on the research results, the best varieties were selected, the fruits of which are suitable for developing technologies for the production of blended syrups for a healthy diet.
The aim of the research is to create a tool for marketing ready-made garments through the use of colored lights in comparison to the impact of three different types of light intensity of colored LED ...lamps, which is 3w-5w-9w, and to identify the effect of colored lights on the surfaces of colored textile fabrics through practical experience (26) The color of polo fabrics and cotton gel fabrics used in the manufacture of men's scarves through (6) colors of colored light they are (red color - green - blue - mix red with green - mix red with blue - Combination of green color with the color (10) to get the best design from each design group, as well as the best design from all groups. The first design of the first group was (95.00%), the fifth design of the second group (97.67%), the seventh design in the third group is the best (89.00%), the fifth design of the fifth group is the best by 90.67% It is the best among the groups Finally, the best design from each group was applied and the effects of colored lights applied to them. The results show that the product can be displayed 6 times in a different color each time according to the original color. And the development of innovative marketing methods for the display and marketing of garments using color and light, and suggests the research use as an effective marketing tool, which proves the hypotheses that the light color can create a visual image to help increase the attractiveness of the product.
