The registering precision is one of the most important specifications in printing press. Many factors that may influence the registering precision including the construction of the printing press in ...design, the assembly precision in manufacturing stage, adjustment in process of operation, the wear and tear of the machine when it is in use, crawl of blanket and extension of sheet are all considered comprehensively. The mathematical models are built up to describe the register error of press. The algorithm of accuracy and precision of sheet-feeding and sheet-transferring is introduced. With the aid of image technology, the coordinates of marks can be obtained automatically, and the registering accuracy and precision can also be calculated.
Le cloud computing, en français l'informatique en nuage, est l’idée concrétisé afin de résoudre les problèmes informatiques quotidiens. Il est essentiellement un pool de ressources virtuel et le ...fournit aux clients via une interface internet. Introduction: Bite mark evidence is unique to an individual and plays an important role in the legal system. There has always been the need to develop newer materials for bite mark analysis that will ...have excellent reproducibility as well as reliability.
Aim: The present study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of styrofoam sheets and modeling wax with time-dependent changes when compared to the routine dental cast models.
Materials and Methods: The present study included thirty volunteers and their bite marks were taken on the styrofoam and wax sheet materials that were traced on the transparent sheet and evaluation of the bite marks on the two materials were carried out at an interval of 1 day for 3 alternate days and grades were given, respectively. ANOVA test and t-test were used for statistical analysis.
Results: The comparison between the styrofoam sheet and wax sheet with the dental cast on day 1 proved to be excellent materials for reproducibility, but from day 3 onward, the styrofoam sheet showed changes in bite registered area; whereas wax sheet maintained its registered dimensions.
Conclusion: The study concludes that bite mark registration on styrofoam and wax sheet had excellent reproducibility on day 1, which makes these two materials advantageous in bite mark registration and overlay generation on the same day, whereas on day 3 and day 5, the styrofoam sheet showed changes with respect to bite registration and overlay generation, which questions the reliability of the styrofoam sheet for long-term record keeping when compared with the modeling wax.
This paper proposes a new method to perform real-time face pose estimation for ±90° yaw rotations and under low light conditions. The algorithm works on the basis of a completely automatic and ...run-time incremental 3D face modelling. The model is initially made up upon a set of 3D points derived from stereo grey-scale images. As new areas of the subject face appear to the cameras, new 3D points are automatically added to complete the model. In this way, we can estimate the pose for a wide range of rotation angles, where typically 3D frontal points are occluded.
We propose a new feature re-registering technique which combines views of both cameras of the stereo rig in a smart way in order to perform a fast and robust tracking for the full range of yaw rotations. The Levenberg–Marquardt algorithm is used to recover the pose and a RANSAC framework rejects incorrectly tracked points.
The model is continuously optimised in a bundle adjustment process that reduces the accumulated error on the 3D reconstruction.
The intended application of this work is estimating the focus of attention of drivers in a simulator, which imposes challenging requirements. We validate our method on sequences recorded in a naturalistic truck simulator, on driving exercises designed by a team of psychologists.

► We develop a 3D face pose estimation algorithm to work on low lighting conditions. ► We start by creating a 3D model of the face. ► Feature templates are updated dynamically. ► The model is extended and corrected online. ► Results from a naturalistic driving simulator are compared to a ground-truth.

Low-altitude unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) images shave increasingly demonstrated unique advantages in the fields of transport planning, urban management, emergency monitoring. To understand the ...advantages of UAV images, rapid and accurate correction and registration of the image are a necessary premise. This paper takes a image of intersection taken by hovering UAV as its research target, and discusses the method of geometric correction and registration for such images. The image contains a large number of similar features and moving objects, which makes it difficult to be corrected in traditional way, based on spatial domain or frequency domain. Thus, this paper proposes an image registering method based on semantic information extracted from zebra lines. To realize images registration between arbitrary frames, the following steps are necessary: patterns extraction, zebra line patterns preparation and classification, axis fitting and image registration. Finally, a test is performed with a video taken by UAV. The results demonstrate that the method is robust and effective.
The present paper deals with the problems of the intracommunitary operations in Romania according to the current legislation. The intracommunitary acquisitions and deliveries of goods are being ...presented as well as the intracommunitary acquisitions and carrying out of services. We have also referred to the registering obligations towards the fiscal institutions, types of declarations and the penalties for not obeying the current legislation in the case of the economic agents undergoing intracommunitary operations. At the end of the present paper, we have chosen to present three cases of fiscal fraud as well as the measures which have been adopted by Romania in 2012 in order to prevent the fiscal fraud in the field of intracommunitary acquisitions. As a research method, the authors have used not only the theoretical approach, but also the empirical one. First of all, the theoretical approach has been chosen because there have been analyzed a lot of notions on intracommunitary acquisitions and deliveries of goods and services in accordance to the current legislation. Secondly, we have considered the empirical approach as we have concentrated on three fiscal fraud cases highly met in the case of the intracommunitary trade. Even though Romania, as a European state member, has a public debt rate of 32% of GDP, which is far below the average EU 27, it still continues to borrow money from the international financial institutions in order to cover the public debt. Besides the measures presented in this paper, we propose fighting against the fiscal fraud by using all the possible means of attracting supplementary budgetary sources.
Three dimensional modeling and visualization of environments is an increasingly important problem. This work addresses the problem of automatic 3D reconstruction and we present a system for ...unsupervised reconstruction of textured 3D models in the context of modeling indoor environments. We present solutions to all aspects of the modeling process and an integrated system for the automatic creation of large scale 3D models.
Purpose: the review of the current state of legal aspects and features of the reclaimed land (RL) registering. Discussion. Information on the availability, areas and RL use is currently provided to ...various departments. The number of bodies exceeds a dozen. Different interpretations of the requirements for input data and technical errors during input lead to inconsistencies in the data of various departments. A significant number of changes and innovations in regulatory and legal documentation indicate the imperfection of the RL registration process and constant attempts to improve it. Vast areas of reclamation systems and their division in forms of ownership complicate the registration of the available RL. The confidentiality of information obtained during the RL registration does not allow for a detailed analysis of the effectiveness of the reclamation systems functioning, even within the same department. As a result, it is impossible to create an objective picture of the reclamation system functioning and the reclamation complex as a whole. The solution to the problem of data inconsistency, including when taking into account RL, as well as quick and accurate determination of the RL location and GTS, is seen in the creation of a geographic information system (GIS) within a single digital portal. Certain elements of GIS technologies have already applied today, but the main advantage of the system being developed should be the integration of information from different sources to create a reference source of information. The development of such a system has been ongoing since 2008; currently it is a Unified Federal Information System on Agricultural Lands (UFIS AL). Conclusions. A review of the current state of legal aspects and features of the RL registering allowed coming to the conclusion that filling the UFIS AL with accurate and reliable information will allow using it for creating services to solve various problems, including the development of digital services, for example, facilitating the treaty-making process for the provision of water supply and (or) drainage services.
