With the rural revitalization strategy was proposed in 2017, large-scale land consolidation has been carried out in rural areas of China, which has profoundly impacted rural development and ...sustainability. To assess the multi-dimensional effects of land consolidation on rural revitalization, an evaluation system was constructed following the proposed "target-indicator-outcome" framework and subsequently applied to 193 cases documented in 92 peer-reviewed articles for a systematic review and meta-analysis. The results indicate that rural land consolidation had played more positive than no/negative roles in facilitating rural revitalization, with cases reporting generally positive outcomes accounting for 74%. Considering four targets of rural revitalization, positive effects were statistically significant in the case of Prosperous Life and Industrial Prosperity, with positive cases accounting for 86% and 79%. However, the positive effects in terms of Ecological Livability and Rural Civilization & Effective Governance is statistically non-significant, with positive cases accounting for 65% and 47%. In terms of 12 indicators, an overview of the positive and no/negative effects brought by land consolidation were summarized. The cases of the indicators related to rural producting and living were largely positive, however, the indicators related to rural ecology, rural civilization and governance reported higher no/negative outcomes. From the perspective of spatial differentiation, the positive effects were significant in eastern, central and western China, and the proportion of positive cases in eastern China (80%) and western China (77%) were higher than those in central China (67%). The opportunities and threats of rural land consolidation in multi-dimension deserve policy attention in rural revitalization strategy.

At present, the focus of global attention is on implementing rural revitalization strategies. However, constructing a set of scientifically based evaluation indexes for the evaluation of the ...effectiveness of rural revitalization implementation, exploring the implementation plan for rural revitalization, has become a common concern and a focus of discussion in political and academic circles. This study used a typical rural revitalization demonstration area in China as an example. We proposed a theoretical framework for rural revitalization research and constructed an index evaluation system for the evaluation of the effectiveness of rural revitalization implementation and influencing factors from two perspectives: material life and spiritual life. The results were as follows: Differences were found in the implementation effectiveness of rural revitalization strategies in the study area; especially, in areas with obvious rural cultural characteristics, their implementation level was relatively high. The implementation effectiveness of rural revitalization strategies was the result of multi-factor interactions. The village greening rate, innovation ability, and the age of village supporters were the main factors affecting rural revitalization, and the interaction effects of a village's innovation ability and other factors were significant. Therefore, we argue that in the process of promoting the sustainable development of villages, it is necessary to prominent the characteristics of village construction and improve the effectiveness of the implementation of village revitalization strategies at both the material and spiritual levels.
Social conflicts resulting from differences in religious beliefs and beliefs need to be managed to resolve differences and build lasting consensus. Therefore, the issue of harmony between religious ...and cultural communities and existing beliefs, both locally and nationally, is a big problem that cannot be ignored and needs serious attention from all parties. Therefore, if religious conflict occurs frequently, it can destroy human values and the foundation of human life. The method used in this research is qualitative with a literature study approach. The results of this research are that people have the freedom to consume whatever form of media they like, but the media itself must function as a filter in deciding what news to cover so that it can function as a social glue for issues such as religious tolerance. The existence of the media as a means of disseminating information demands responsibility to society. Misuse of social events in the media will have a negative impact on society. The existence of the media as a means of disseminating information demands responsibility to society. Misrepresenting social events in the media can potentially have devastating consequences for society.
Regenerative endodontic procedures (REPs) using autologous platelet concentrates as scaffolds can improve the biologic outcome of treatment. This prospective, randomized trial compared the clinical ...and radiographic performance of REPs using platelet-rich plasma (PRP), platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), a platelet pellet (PP), and an induced blot clot (BC).
Sixty-seven healthy children (aged 8–11 years) with 88 immature necrotic incisors were included. After the root canal disinfection step, the teeth were randomly assigned into 1 of the following groups (n = 22/group) according to the scaffold used: PRP, PRF, PP, and BC. In the PRP, PRF, and PP groups, the platelet concentrates were introduced into the root canal without prior induction of apical bleeding. Treatment outcomes were assessed using a combined clinical and radiographic scoring system, whereas the changes in root dimensions were compared using linear measurements of root length and width with ImageJ (National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD) and Turboreg (Biomedical Imaging Group, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Lausanne, Switzerland) and planar measurements using the radiographic root area (RRA) and radiographic canal area (RCA) techniques. One-way analysis of variance, the Duncan multiple range test, the Kruskal-Wallis test, the Mann-Whitney U test, and chi-square dependency tests were used for statistical analysis of data (all P = .05).
Except for 2 teeth in the PRF and BC groups, all teeth showed similar and high success scores (periapical healing, radiographic root development, and positive response to sensitivity tests) after an average follow-up time of 28.25 ± 1.2 months. Of all teeth, 73.9% showed complete apical closure with similar closure rates among groups (P > .05) and a greater tendency for conical-shaped apical closure than a blunt apex. Although linear measurements indicated a similar increase in root length and width among all groups (P > .05), the RRA of the BC group was significantly greater than those of the PRF and PP groups, and the RCA of the BC group was significantly greater than PRP, PRF, and PP (all P < .05) when the follow-up time was not used as a factor. Eighty-six percent of the teeth showed a positive response to sensitivity tests with similar initial response times (P > .05).
PRP, PRF, and PP can yield similar clinical and radiographic outcomes to BC without the need for prior apical bleeding and with significantly less tendency for root canal obliteration. RRA and RCA may reveal minor differences that cannot be determined by linear measurements.
Twenty-first century Bolivia witnessed indigenous resurgence and state promotion of indigenous languages. This article ethnographically examines the impact of these processes on indigenous language ...revitalization and ethnolinguistic identities in urban spaces. It reveals that language attrition continues because indigenous resurgence occurred at a time when language shift from Aymara to Spanish had already occurred in most households and schools were considered the spaces for learning Aymara. Moreover, although indigenous identity continues to be linked to language, linguistic proficiency no longer determines Aymara identity in a reductionist sense. Most contemporary Aymaras deploy a rhetoric that historically contextualizes the process of language attrition, thereby, asserting an anti-essentialist ethnolinguistic identity. This enables learning Aymara to be an aspiration that is highly valued but can be endlessly postponed. The article points out the limitations of state-led language revitalization policies and calls for creating synergies between state planning from above and communitarian initiatives from below.
Mitochondrial transplantation/transfer has been increasingly recognized as a potential way for cell and tissue revitalization. In a recent study, Gabelein et al. reported a novel method for single ...cells mitochondria transplantation using “nanosyringe”. This technique combines atomic force microscopy, optical microscopy, and nanofluidics that enable intra- and intercellular organelle micromanipulation and cell-to-cell mitochondria transplantation with up to 95% success rate. The transferred mitochondria fuse to the host mitochondrial network and donor mtDNA incorporate into the recipient mitochondrial genome. The nanosyringe technique provides a novel tool for future mitochondrial research to offer insight into mitochondrial replacement therapy for stroke and fundamental mitochondrial biology.

The importance of the ecological function of the Quechua language is based on the fact that this language encodes an ethnoecological system of knowledge and a biocentric worldview. This form of ...representation and interpretation means a way to act in that world. This article is based on the research findings carried out in a Quechua speaking andean peasant community, located in a Bolivian geographical area where the greatest biodiversity of tubers is located. Based on the exploration of knowledge about biodiversity of potato, the study reveals the link between territory, culture and language. This connection opens a new perspective for revitalization of indigenous languages, focused on the strengthening of communities and on the environmental protection and restoration of their territories and their traditional productive systems, also considered living spaces of languages.
A world with large disparities in development between rural and urban areas could never achieve sustainable development goals (SDGs). Issues related to agriculture, rural areas, and farmers are ...fundamental to the stability and people's welfare of China as well as other developing countries. Despite the growing demand and national initiative for rural revitalization, rural innovation has received little attention in the innovation literature. Drawing from the new growth theory, institutional theory and innovation system theory, this paper proposes the rural innovation system, which is a complex socioeconomic network that aims to revitalize the countryside and achieve balanced and sustainable development. This paper compares the rural and urban innovation system, introduces a theoretical structural model of the rural innovation system, including a) technology innovation, b) institutional and management innovation, and c) community-based network and intermediary platform innovation. Then it outlines the future challenges in fostering a strong rural innovation system. The rural innovation system proposed makes direct contributions to the literature of rural studies, innovation system, and public policy, and offers both China and the world a new perspective for realizing rural revitalization, anti-poverty and global sustainable development.
