The contribution's aim is highlighting the differences in understanding non-governmental organizations' (NGOs) role in the mental health area within the public support network for patients with ...mental health problems from various viewpoints, in order to achieve progress in supporting patients with mental health problems in local communities.
Qualitative data gathered as a part of a cross-sectional study of NGOs in the support network for patients with mental health problems in two Slovenian health regions (56 local communities), carried out in 2013 and 2014, were used. Qualitative analysis of interviews, focus groups and answers to an open survey question was performed.
There are differences in understanding NGOs' role in the support network for patients with mental health problems, which stem from the roles of stakeholders (local community officials, experts, care providers, and patients) within this system and their experience.
The actual differences need to be addressed and overcome in order to provide integrated community care. The importance of knowing the current state of NGOs in their life cycle and the socio-chronological context of the local community support network is evident.
V prispevku se obravnava področje vidnega jezika v arhitekturi in prostorskih disciplinah, in sicer kot sredstva za komuniciranje in posredovanje informacij, znanja in zamisli o prostoru, ki jih ...problemsko zaznamuje interdisciplinarni značaj. Osredotočamo se na tisti del problematike, ki vključuje prenos sporočil od strokovne k splošni javnosti, in sicer na način, ki dolgoročno podpira izoblikovanje odgovorne in kritične publike, sposobne tvornega sodelovanja na vseh stopnjah trajnostnega načrtovanja in oblikovanja mestnega prostora. V članku predstavljamo nekatere rezultate empirične študije (N = 245), v kateri smo preverjali učinkovitost izbranih predstavitvenih tehnik pri prenosu prostorskih sporočil k splošni javnosti, ugotovitve pa umestimo v okvir obstoječega znanja na tem področju.
The articles derives from the research about potential socio-economic and landscape changes EU accession would bring for Slovenia as perceived by the local population in the selected region. The ...author analyzed which of the predicted changes have been also mirrored in the landscape and how removing the borders improved not just the quality but also the perception of the landscape. Special attention was given to the joined cross-border initiatives which aim at improving the local and regional economic conditions, advancing the agricultural practice and better environment in the region. On one hand, the accession has been along with the opportunities EU initiatives offer accepted as the positive change in the region, on the other it has requested several, sometimes unwanted adaptations in the local communities in order to comply with the EU policies and legislation.
Članek temelji na raziskavi, ki je bila opravljena pred priključitvijo Slovenije Evropski uniji z namenom, da se ugotovi, kako lokalni prebivalci dojemajo in predvidevajo družbeno-gospodarske posledice in spremembe v kulturni krajini, ki jih bo ta politična sprememba prinesla. Avtorica je analizirala, kako se napovedane spremembe odražajo v prostoru 10 let kasneje in kako je odprtje metje izboljšalo kakovost in tudi dojemanje krajine. Slednja se je spremenila zlasti zaradi prekomejnih CBC iniciativ, katerih namen je izboljšanje lokalnega in regionalnega gospodarstva, napredek kmetijstva in večja trajnost regije. Zaključimo lahko, da je priključitev Evropski uniji regiji prinesla pozitivne spremembe, vendar se je potrebno zavedati tudi nezaželenih posledic, ki nastanejo zaradi prilagajanja lokalnih skupnosti evropskim politikam.
In December 2004, the massive Indian Ocean Tsunami hit the coastal areas of Sri Lanka causing a devastating impact on the lives of people. National and International humanitarian aid received in the ...aftermath was unprecedented. Among this was a team of professors and students from the faculty of Social Work, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, who conducted a summer camp as a social work practice project together with Sri Lankan undergraduates. The objective was to initiate a project for support based on an action research model adopting a short-term design built upon a needs assessment. While critically looking at the process of international support in the context of country's long history of state welfare and community support systems, the paper also focuses on one major lapse among others, negligence of people's needs during disaster interventions. The paper attempts to view this situation in relation to the absence of an established social work profession in the country and examines the applicability of an international framework and concepts of social work in developing academic and professional social work in a context as diverse as Sri Lanka.

La Convention pour la sauvegarde du patrimoine culturel Immatériel de 2003 et la Convention sur la protection et la promotion de la diversité des expressions culturelles de 2005 sont les deux plus ...récents traités culturels internationaux conclus sous l’égide de l’Organisation des Nations Unies pour l’éducation, la science et la culture (UNESCO). Puisant leur source dans la Déclaration universelle sur la diversité culturelle adoptée à l’unanimité des membres de l’UNESCO en 2001, les Conventions de 2003 et de 2005 constituent toutes deux une réponse de la communauté internationale aux phénomènes de mondialisation des économies et d’homogénéisation des cultures, notamment générés par l’intégration des marchés. Ces instruments demeurent néanmoins distincts et poursuivent des objectifs qui leurs sont propres, bien que des interactions entre les deux conventions puissent être identifiées. Cet ouvrage a pour vocation de mettre les deux textes en parallèles, de manière à clarifier leur champ d’application respectif, tout en valorisant leur complémentarité et leur contribution au développement durable des sociétés.
Predstavljena je oblika neformalnega učenja v študijskih krožkih na primeru dela z nadarjenimi učenci. Osnovna načela dela v študijskem krožku (participacija učencev/udeležencev pri izbiri vsebine, ...organizacija dela in učenja sta prepuščeni učencem, prav tako identifikacija in realizacija izobraževalnih in akcijskih ciljev ipd.) so dobra podlaga za delo z učenci, ki si želijo aktivnejšega in samoiniciativnejšega načina učenja. Študijski krožki, ki temeljijo na demokratičnih načelih učenja, tako pomagajo dopolniti vnaprej predpisane osnovnošolske programe in spodbujati pri učencih vedoželjnost, ki so jo pripravljeni skupaj zadovoljevati v učni skupini krožku in tudi v širši skupnosti.

Bivanjski prostor oblikujejo naravni procesi, značilni za posamezen kraj, javni prostori v njem in enačenje prebivalcev s krajem. Proces enačenja s krajem spodbuja nastanek sistema zasebnih, ...družbenih in javnih zelenih površin. Pojavlja se na formalni, funkcionalni in simbolni ravni zaznave mestnega prostora. Zelene površine so lahko zasebna cvetlična korita pod oknom ali gredice pod blokom, skupne zelenice, javne zelene površine, parki in drevoredi ... Vse te zelene površine so za skupnost zelo pomembne. Krajevnim skupnostim omogočajo, da se enačijo s krajino svojega stanovanjskega naselja in z monumentalno krajino, v kateri so ob njihovem naselju zrasla nova stanovanjska naselja. Enačenje s krajem v tem smislu zvišuje standard naselja in simbolizira monumentalno pokrajino. To pa spodbuja njeno prenovo. Primer take strukture so varšavsko stanovanjsko naselje, ki sta ga projektirala Poljaka B. in S. Brukalski, delavnice, v katerih so sodelovali srednješolci, in projekt »Varšavska kraljevska promenada«. To so tudi instrumenti, ki oblikujejo družbeno potrebo po objektih za rekreativne in kulturne dejavnosti, po objektih, ki simbolizirajo metropolitanski značaj mesta.
