The new retranslation of the ballad “Hasanaginica” brings about an interpretation grounded in comprehensive scholarly research, which a linguo-stylistic analysis of both its source text (ST) and 25 ...published (re)translations represent. This retranslation is designed to make a notable difference reflected in its aspiration to achieve optimal equivalence on all levels of expression, minding its metrics, rhythm, sound figures, as much as its lexical choices and syntactic structures. One of the paper’s main aims is to compensate for the linguistic and stylistic flaws recognized in the previous translations of this ballad, which were not always erroneous deviations from a semantic correspondence, but interpretations informed by a fundamental incomprehension of the religio-cultural circumstances shaping the world of the ballad.
This study shows the attempts of stylistic architecture (in its historical understanding) to resist the second global style, Modern Movement, that arose at the end of the 19th century. However, all ...the postulates of the Modern Movement have already been implemented. However, the architecture of the second global style turned out to be uncompetitive in relation to Classicism. Therefore, the search for something new and attempts to return to style architecture are continuing. Such a return is theoretically impossible. The time has come to update the theoretical basis of architecture. We are witnessing the advent of phenomenological architecture—the architecture of the structure of consciousness and feelings. The main starting point for changing the theoretical basis of architecture is the emergence c of a “networked person” who seeks reconciliation with the outside world. The article proposes some provisions for the manifesto of contemplative architecture.
ابتدأت الحركة التشكيلية العراقية منذ النصف الأول من القرن العشرين أي ما يقارب المئة عام، مرت عبر مراحل مختلفة وارهاصات غيرت من مساراتها ورؤى الفنانين المشتغلين من أجيال القرن الماضي، وعليه تبرز لنا ...مشكلة تبويب وتوثيق هذه التجارب والاستعمالات الفنية التي شهدت تقلبات سياسية وإجماعيه واقتصادية متباينة خلال العقود الاخيرة، والتي شكلت عوامل ضاغطة ومؤثرة على الصعيد الإنساني وعلى المنجز الفني المعبر عن هموم وغربة ومعاناة الفنان التشكيلي العراقي وضياع جزء مهم من جانب الشكلي للصورة الفنية المعبرة عن تاريخ وحضارة العراق وثقافة شعبه و كذلك ضياع الكثير من الجانب التوثيقي لتلك المرحلة ومثال مؤلم على ذلك هو انتهاك متحف الفنون ابان الاحتلال الأمريكي 2003م، ومنذ زمن ليس بالقليل تشكل تلك الضواغط على بنية الاستقرار الاجتماعي والثقافي للبلاد، مما دفع العديد من الفنانين الى الهجرة خارج العراق، تسبب بفقد جزء مهم من حلقة الوصل بين جيل الرواد والاجيال التي تليه، ومنهم بعض الأسماء المهمة من هذه المرحلة صلاح جياد ، فيصل لعيبي، نعمان هادي، غسان فيضي، كريم الاسدي، كاظم خليفة، محمد فرادي، علي فنجان، واخرين؛ ورغم ان الأسلوب الفني لدى هؤلاء الفنانين في هذه المرحلة التي كانت متأثرة بشكل واضح بأساليب الرواد، الا ان إثر الغربة وتأثير الثقافة الاجتماعية والبيئة الغربية كان واضحا في تلك الاعمال فيما بعد، وهذا لا يعني انهم غادرو بيئتهم العراقية على الاطلاق بل تجد ان تمسكهم بحضارة العراق بصورها المختلفة السومرية والبابلية والاشورية واضح باسمرار ويمكن إيجاد الدلائل على تمسكهم بجذورهم العراقية الأصيلة، مع ملاحظة تأثير البيئة الغربية على الصورة التعبيرية والشكلية لأعمالهم مما تدعوا هذه المفارقة للدراسة والتحليل.يتطرق بحثنا هذا عن أحد الفنانين المغتربين وهو نعمان هادي، نشأته في مرحلة تتوسط تأريخ الحركة التشكيلية أحد أعضاء جماعة الأكاديميين من جيل السبعينيات، ومن خلاله نستعرض السؤال التالي.ما هي السمات الأسلوبية في أعمال نعمان هادي؟

The articledeals with the methods of forming pupils’ stylistic competence in general secondary education establishments in the Ukrainian Danube region. We described the methods (stylistic analysis, ...linguistic review, transformation and sentence building, reproduction with the stylistic assignment, stylistic exercises) and devices (simile, interchange, stylistic experiment, modelling, reviewing) while acquiring stylistic knowledge in comprehensive school. There were introduced different kinds of stylistic exercises (lexical and stylistic, phonetical and stylistic, grammatical and stylistic; supplementary, special, aimed to reinforce and master the knowledge and skills and so on). We analyzed the stylistic mistakes, made by the pupils of general secondary education establishments, methods of eliminating such mistakes were recommended.

Over the last few decades, Internet-based communication has become an increasingly dominant form of information exchange. Not surprisingly, the development and use of social media have led to ...language change. At the same time, opportunities have arisen for linguists to explore and analyze the linguo-stylistic characteristics of social media usage. Therefore, this paper deals with the dilemmas and comments posted by the members of the Facebook and Instagram communities Jezičke nedoumice (Eng. Linguistic Dilemmas) and Dnevna doza pravopisa (Eng. A Daily Dose of Standard Serbian), as well as the Krstarica forum Jezik (Eng. Language). These communities were formed with the aim of solving linguistic issues and improving the linguistic knowledge of their users. Our research will focus on the nature of posts and comments on the popular social media websites, in terms of their linguistic and stylistic features. Its aim is to identify and classify these features by examining the rhetorical devices used. The collection of the corpus material relied on the presence of the following stylemes in the social media discussions on linguistic topics: (1) phonostylemes, (2) semantostylemes, (3) syntaxostylemes, and (4) graphostylemes.
This study is based on an experimental method of eye-tracking to investigate how translators perceive and understand translated literary texts and how different stylistic features influence their ...perception. This methodology allowed us to observe which parts of the text translators focused on the most, providing valuable data on their reading patterns and cognitive processes. Among English-Chinese translators, 95 out of 120 participants (79%) showed a tendency to prioritize faithfully conveying the source text’s meaning over crafting a target text that aligns with Chinese stylistically. In the specific context of Chinese-English translation out of the 120 instances examined, the translators exhibited a reduced fixation duration on words in the source language, accounting for 34 instances (28%). This suggests a greater concern for preserving the source text’s meaning rather than adapting it to the target culture. This research can assist translators and linguists in translating the stylistic features of English and Chinese literary texts more effectively. Future studies can explore other language stylistic features that may impact translation and compare translation styles across various literary genres and language pairs.

Głupota jest zjawiskiem trudnym do zdefiniowania, ponieważ lubi przybierać rozmaite formy: ignorancji, mentalnego lenistwa, hipokryzji, fanatyzmu. Jeszcze trudniej znaleźć adekwatną ripostę na ...przejawy głupoty, bowiem wszelkie środki retoryczne użyte w debacie z głupim adwersarzem błędnie zakładają ten sam poziom intelektualny między rozmówcami.
Felietony Umberta Eco zawarte w zbiorach pt. Pape Satàn aleppe staną się punktem wyjścia do rozważań o możliwościach opisania głupoty dostrzeżonej w społeczeństwie włoskim w latach 2000–2015. W niniejszym artykule o charakterze przeglądowym na tle kontekstu społecznego i politycznego zostanie poddane analizie zagadnienie środków stylistycznych użytych przez włoskiego semiotyka. Interpretuje on współczesność w ujęciu porównawczo-historycznym: komentowane wydarzenia są dla Eco oznaką niebezpiecznych procesów politycznych i społecznych.
Stosowane przez Eco takie tropy jak m.in. porównanie, analogia, antyteza, hiperbola, epitet, parodia okazują się być nie tylko intelektualną rozrywką. Eco pomny na niedawną przeszłość Włoch chce przede wszystkim przestrzegać przed konsekwencjami mentalnej indolencji, która już raz doprowadziła do tragedii faszyzmu.
J.K. Rowling’s works are of particular interest for stylistic analysis, since the author’s text is always dense with various stylistic devices. The purpose of the article is to analyze and classify ...the stylistic devices used by J. K. Rowling in the book “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban”. The article discusses various approaches to the definition of the concepts of “expressive means” and “stylistic device”. The principle research method is stylistic analysis. Stylistic analysis of the book allows us to identify 230 stylistic devices, which are divided into 3 large groups: graphic and phonetico-graphic, lexical and lexico-syntactic, syntactic stylistic devices. As a distinctive feature of J. K. Rowling’s style, it seems possible to indicate the simultaneous use of heterogeneous stylistic devices in the same utterance.
This research aims to reveal how the style of language in the poem Ikhtārī written by Nizar Qabbani. This study used a descriptive qualitative method. The research uses the five levels of stylistic ...analysis theory by Syihabuddin Qalyubi. The results of this study there is a style of language based on the level in stylistic anaysis, among which is (1) Muhtawiyāt al-ṣauti: repetition of the sound is kasrah at the end of the sentence, ṣawāmit mukarrarah (ra), (2) Muhtawiyāt al-naḥwi: Taqdīmul khabar ‘alā mubtada’ (Prioritizing khabar above mubtada’), 'Aṭaf ma'ṭūf, (3) Mustawā al-dālali: synonyms of the word ukminu, ṣadrun, imra'atun, (4) Mustawā al-ṣuwari: tasybīh, nidā'.
