May 15--BELLEFONTE--Clarence starter Mike Surovec allowed just one run as the Mounties recovered from an opening-night loss to defeat the Bellefonte Brewers. Blanchard--Kurt Smith homered and ...recorded two singles to lead the Bellefonte Brewers past Blanchard. The Brewers' offense received a boost from Clay Smith who tripled, doubled and singles and Dan Cole who hit a double and single. Brian Robbins earned the win on the mound for Bellefonte (2- 0).
Jun. 14--CLARENCE--Mike Surovec allowed one earned run in 52/3 innings to help the Clarence Mounties recover from a slow start and defeat the Bellefonte Brewers 9-8 Tuesday.
Clarence -- Mike Surovec tossed a five-hitter and belted a two- run homer as Clarence pounded the Bellefonte Brewers. Leading 1-0, Clarence took control with six runs in the second. Dave Fye smacked ...a two-run single, while Surovec, Cory Guenot and Kyle Gavelock each added RBI singles in the frame. Surovec struck out two and didn't walk a batter. Brad Young, Ron Guenot, Surovec, Gavelock and Fye each had two hits for the Mounties.
