Recreational fishing on public lakes and rivers near Bucharest has recorded a significant decline in the last decade, the steady decline of the fish stock, poaching and pollution being the causes ...that have generated this negative trend. In this context, tourist traffic from Bucharest, as a result of recreational fishing, is mainly on private lakes which, by increasing the quality of tourist facilities, accessibility and tourism promotion, can be transformed into regional tourist destinations. The paper analyzes the tourist phenomenon (tourist potential, tourist facilities, tourist traffic) generated by recreational fishing, specific to the most representative private lakes in the administrative-territorial units surrounding Bucharest. The results show significant differences in the case of tourist traffic and accommodation capacity between private lakes located in Ilfov County and those in Giurgiu and Calarasi counties. The research used statistical data provided by INS, Romania and surveys conducted online on groups of recreational fishing in Bucharest.
The paper investigates the spatial heterogeneity of public’s preferences for the implementation of a new country-wide forest management and protection program in Poland. Spatial econometric methods ...and high resolution geographical information system data related to forest characteristics are used to explain the variation in individual-specific willingness to pay (WTP) values, derived from a discrete choice experiment study. We find that respondents’ WTP is higher the closer they live to their nearest forest, and the scarcer forests are in the area where they live. Interestingly, the higher the ecological value of forests in respondents’ area, the more people prefer extending areas of national forest protection. We also investigate spatial patterns in individual-specific WTP scores and in latent class membership probabilities, finding that preferences are indeed spatially clustered. We argue that this clustering should be taken into account in forest management and policy-making.
This article presents the concept of creating the "S5 Bicycle Route" using technical roads along the S5 expressway between Wrocław and Poznań. The paper presents the procedure of establishing the S5 ...Bicycle Route association and defining the methods for promoting the route using landscape visualization. The goal of the project is to determine the course of this beautifully landscaped bicycle route of almost 180 km, running along the S5 expressway in Dolnośląskie and Wielkopolskie Voivodships. The project concept assumes the use of technical road networks along the existing and constructed S5 expressway for the purposes of bicycle traffic, especially for tourism and recreation. The added value of the project is to use the road network to create an alternative to combustion engine traffic and improve the mobility of residents who commute to school and work.
Mountain have long been areas of tourist interest. In connection with the
rapid development of the service, the range of tourist activities in the
mountains is increasing. The study area is ...mountainous part of the Ural
economic region, the most economically developed part of the Ural Mountains.
The paper attempts to structure the tourist service by types of tourism -
medical and recreational, skiing, nature-based, industrial, event. As a
result, it was revealed that a number of types of tourism form their own
service system and are clearly localized in space (health, ski, nature-based
tourism), other types of tourism (industrial, event) are not so strictly
determined. Medical tourism is the most inert type of tourism. The geography
has not undergone significant changes over a long period of time due to the
complete dependence on the infrastructure base of the sanatorium-resort
complex. Ski tourism is a dynamically developing type of tourism in the
region under consideration. Despite the need for significant investment,
the network of ski resorts is growing and the range of their tourist
services is expanding. Nature-based tourism, natural recreation is the most
common type of tourism due to the widespread creation of tourist service
facilities with the widest range - recreation centers and tourist bases,
guest houses, glamping, campsites, etc. These objects gravitate towards
natural attractions, picturesque outskirts of populated areas, points and
banks of reservoirs, sustainable tourist routes.

Abstract
The main goal of this study was to develop a hybrid decision‐making support model regarding the feasibility of financing the development of tourism infrastructure of regions for V4 ...countries, based on the predicted assessment of the level of tourist movement in relation to the infrastructure and accessibility of the studied regions, expert opinions regarding the level of quality of tourist services and tourism development, as well as opinions of experts regarding the prospects of rapid growth of tourist movement in the region. For the first time, a hybrid fuzzy model for assessing the level of tourism quality in the region was developed, using the opinions of experts regarding the level of quality of tourist services and tourism development. For the first time, a five‐layer neuro‐fuzzy model was developed to derive a quantitative and linguistic assessment of the level of feasibility of financing the development of tourist infrastructure based on the experience, knowledge, and competences of experts regarding the prospects of rapid growth of tourist movement in the studied region. The research results were tested, and the developed model was verified on real data for 43 regions of the V4 countries.

To miejscowość o rozwiniętej funkcji turystycznej, w której – podobnie jak w wielu innych w kraju – w dobie gospodarki rynkowej zachodzą liczne zmiany, m.in. dotyczące infrastruktury turystycznej.
