Luminescent lanthanide metal–organic frameworks (Ln-MOFs) have been shown to exhibit relevant optical properties of interest for practical applications, though their implementation still remains a ...challenge. To be suitable for practical applications, Ln-MOFs must be not only water stable but also printable, easy to prepare, and produced in high yields. Herein, we design and synthesize a series of m CB-Eu y Tb 1–y (y = 0–1) MOFs using a highly hydrophobic ligand mCBL1: 1,7-di(4-carboxyphenyl)-1,7-dicarba-closo-dodecaborane. The new materials are stable in water and at high temperature. Tunable emission from green to red, energy transfer (ET) from Tb3+ to Eu3+, and time-dependent emission of the series of mixed-metal m CB-Eu y Tb 1–y MOFs are reported. An outstanding increase in the quantum yield (QY) of 239% of mCB-Eu (20.5%) in the mixed mCB-Eu0.1Tb0.9 (69.2%) is achieved, along with an increased and tunable lifetime luminescence (from about 0.5 to 10 000 μs), all of these promoted by a highly effective ET process. The observed time-dependent emission (and color), in addition to the high QY, provides a simple method for designing high-security anticounterfeiting materials. We report a convenient method to prepare mixed-metal Eu/Tb coordination polymers (CPs) that are printable from water inks for potential applications, among which anticounterfeiting and bar-coding have been selected as a proof-of-concept.

Nowadays, the abuse of amphetamine-type stimulants (ATS) is of increasing concern in many countries. To better solve this problem, an easy, convenient and sensitive ATS sensor (CB/Eu@CH3-1) to monitor 3-phenylpropylamine (3-PPA) in saliva has been first constructed, which employ cucurbit uril (CB) as a specific pre-concentrator of 3-PPA and Eu3+ as a fluorescent recognition towards 3-PPA. In order to anchor the supramolecular cucurbit uril (CB) on the metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and simultaneously introduce the fluorescence of Eu3+ into it, a creative way was first proposed in this work to realize the bis-functionalization of MOF (1). The covalent functionalization of the MOFs (CH3-1) makes it possess the electron-deficient groups to form donor-acceptor (D-A) complexes with cucurbit uril (CB), while the coordinate functionalization furnished the MOFs excellent luminescence of Eu3+ (Eu@CH3-1). For further application, the methodology of using artificial neural networks (ANNs) to process sensing results was first proposed, which can intelligently convert the fluorescent sensing image into the concentrations of 3-PPA without the artificial tedious digital processing. The proposal of the methodology opens a new strategy for intelligent analysis of sensing experiment results.

La serre tunnel agricole classique est largement répandue dans les pays méditerranéens, malgré les insuffisances qu’elle présente, notamment la surchauffe pendant le jour et le refroidissement ...nocturne intense, qui parfois se traduit par l’inversion thermique interne. La serre chapelle habillée en verre est relativement plus performante, mais son évolution reste lente en raison de son coût d’investissement et son amortissement. Le comportement énergétique d’une serre a fait l’objet de plusieurs études et concerne globalement la nuit et afin de contribuer en une meilleure gestion climatique nous nous sommes proposé d’entreprendre une étude et analyse thermique de la paroi en fonction d’une modélisation. Lors de ce travail, nous avons mis au point un quotient nommé Bibi, qui permet de caractériser un matériau de couverture. Cet état d’évolution thermique est fonction du degré d’étanchéité de la couverture et de ses caractéristiques physiques, pour être transparente aux rayonnements solaires, absorbante et réfléchissante des rayonnements infrarouges émis par le sol, d’où l’effet de piégeage des radiations solaires autrement appelé ‘effet de serre’. Nous proposons dans cet article, la modélisation et l’analyse du comportement thermique de la paroi en polyéthylène ‘PE’ de la serre tunnel expérimentale.
A resistência bacteriana impacta a saúde mundial. O tratamento de Klebsiella pneumoniae produtora de carbapenemase (CB-Kp) é uma dificuldade principalmente em pacientes com SARS-CoV-2.
Avaliar o ...tratamento da infecção secundária por CB-Kp e as taxas de sucesso terapêutico em pacientes com COVID-19 internados na (UTI-COVID).
Foram incluídos, pacientes com COVID-19 que tiveram quadro infeccioso por CB-Kp da UTI-COVID entre setembro/2020 e abril/2021. Todos os isolados de CB-Kp foram identificados pelo sistema BD-PhoenixTM, e a pesquisa de carbapenemase pelo método NG-Test CARBA 5 (Biotech Next Generation) para detecção de KPC, OXA-48, VIM, IMP e NDM. A tipagem molecular por ERIC-PCR. Dados do tratamento foram obtidos de prontuários eletrônicos.
Um total de 44 pacientes da UTI-COVID apresentaram cultura positiva para CB-Kp, 25 isolados de cultura de vigilância e 19 de quadros infecciosos. Todos os isolados foram agrupados num mesmo cluster (similaridade de 100%). Dos 19 pacientes com infecção, 9 tiveram pneumonia associada a ventilação mecânica (PAV), 5 bacteremia, 4 PAV seguida de bacteremia e 1 infecção urinária. A avaliação do tratamento não pode ser realizada para 9/19 pacientes, pois foram a óbito antes da emissão do laudo microbiológico. Para 9 dos 10 pacientes a combinação de antibacterianos foi utilizada com 5/9 (56%) de sucesso terapêutico. Para 3 pacientes utilizou-se polimixina B 1000000UI 12/12h (PB 2x) + meropenem 1 g 8/8h (MEM 3x), 2/3 tiveram alta hospitalar (AH) e 1 foi à óbito. O uso de PB2x + MEM 3x seguido de outras combinações (MEM3x e levofloxacino 500 mg/dia ou amicacina 1 g/dia) resultaram em 2 AH, assim como o uso de MEM 3x e Levofloxacino 500 mg 24/24h -1 AH. Associação dupla de MEM 3x com linezolida 600 mg 12/12h ou com vancomicina 1 g 8/8h resultaram em 2 óbitos, da mesma forma a associação tripla de PB2x mais MEM 3x mais vancomicina 1 g 8/8h (2 óbitos); e a monoterapia com MEM 3x (1 óbito). Dos 5 pacientes com AH, 4 tiveram PAV e 1 bacteremia destes 4 isolados de CB-Kp eram produtores KPC e 1 de NDM. Entre os 5 óbitos, 3 tiveram PAV e 2 bacteremias sendo 5 produtores de KPC.
A dificuldade terapêutica é evidenciada pelo alto número de óbitos, a combinação de PB 2x e MEM 3x teve maior taxa de sucesso terapêutico para isolados produtores de KPC ou NDM. Mais estudos devem ser realizados para que nesta dificuldade terapêutica das co-infecções em COVID-19 possamos ainda conseguir algum êxito.

Le by-pass gastrique est la technique la plus fréquemment utilisée (poche gastrique de 30 mL avec anse en Y de 150 cm et anastomose jéjuno-jéjunale à 60 cm du Treitz) pour le traitement de l’obésité ...morbide. Huit patients (sur 167 opérés dans notre centre entre 2009 et 2012) ont présenté une ou plusieurs lithiases rénales oxalo-calciques.
Au cours de l’année 2013, 50 patients consécutifs (H10, F40), âge 41 ans (22–65), BMI 43,2kg/m2 (36–60,8) ont bénéficié d’un geste identique par les mêmes opérateurs. Au quatrième mois postopératoire, un bilan métabolique avec avis néphrologique a été réalisé.
La perte de poids moyenne depuis l’intervention était de 27,3kg, soit 1,7kg par semaine. Le DFG moyen (MDRD) était de 117±25 mL/min, le taux de vitamine D native (25 OH D3) de 27,5±11μg/L. La densité et l’osmolalité urinaire étaient respectivement de 1021±5 et 569±250 mosm/L. Les valeurs de calciurie, d’oxalurie et de citraturie sont données par le Tableau 1.
Tous les patients ont une oligurie d’apport. Malgré la supplémentation, le taux de vitamine D native reste à la limite inférieure des normes. Les 8 patients lithiasiques ont une oxalurie significativement plus élevée et une citraturie plus basse que ceux explorés de façon prospective en 2013. Des conseils diététiques avec une augmentation des apports liquidiens comportant pour partie du citrate ont été donnés de façon personnalisée. Cette étude conforte notre idée initiale de poursuivre le suivi systématique des patients ayant bénéficié d’une CB et de revoir immédiatement ceux qui présenteraient un accident lithiasique.

This study highlighted the symbiosis between Anabaena-azollae cyanobacteria and Azolla aquatic fern in the production of Azolla filiculoides and its use as a biofertilizer. His trial of vegetative ...production using ordinary water + dung, carried out in 14 days of culture, showed a significant amount (6473g). Then, the use of this one as an amendment for the growth of CB-one rice, showed its positive impact on soil fertility thus translating high yields of CB-one rice contrary to the unamended witness. Indeed, with this treatment, the average number of tillers observed after 56 days of culture, was 18.1 ± 4.23 tillers contrary to the NPK (15.83 ± 4.98) and the control (10, 4 ± 3.27). The average number of leaves was significant in Azolla (57.20 ± 13.45), average for the NPK fertilizer (48.86 ± 15.79) and low for the control (34.83 ± 14, 52). In sum, the trays treated with Azolla filiculoides produced many more panicles and grains compared to treatments. As a result, Azolla is likely to restore soil fertility by providing the soil with the nutrients needed for crop productivity.
