  • Nekatere značilnosti bolnic s funkcionalnimi glasovnimi motnjami = Some characteristics of patients with functional voice disorders

    The authors have tried to identify possible factors causing the occurence of functional voice disorders on a sample of 57 women (8 subjects with aphonia, 16 with muscle tension disphonia with vocal ... nodules and 33 with muscle tensiondisphonia without nodules). The most frequent factors were voice abuse,allergy, cervical spine disorders, psychosocial stress and emotional lability. The subgroups of the patients diferred statistically: psychological factors were more prominent in patients with muscle tension disphonia; those with nodules also exhibited greater voice abuse, while those without them wereless emotionally stable.
