Every manufacturing company has to manage an essential resource; this resource is the machinery of the work systems. This is a problem even for the largest and most important corporations. The ...realization of the thesis stems from the idea of providing the person in charge of company resource management with a tool, which may help him to simplify his work. This tool has to be designed to provide the manager with simple actions, to monitor the functioning of the whole machines of the work systems and, therefore, provide him support to aid decision-making for the benefit of the company; and at the same time prevent the reoccurrence of previous mistakes Our proposal is the creation of a dashboard implemented in Excel spreadsheets, which will provide the user a visual display of the most important information, through KPIs and charts, to achieve objectives on a computer screen so it can be monitored at a glance. This dashboard, using an interactive and intuitive environment will then enable the manager to obtain the data he requires in a simple manner, so as to facilitate his labour, being a step forward in resource management.
