We carried out an analysis of the functioning of an industrial fermenter in terms of the basic characteristics during the process of mixing and dispersion of the air into the liquid. In the ...Laboratory of Fluid Dynamics and Thermodynamics we later on made a model device, repeated a series of measurements and compared the obtained results with each other. In the second phase we performed a reconstruction of a multi-stage impeller, and we made a comparison between the measured values and the currently installed configuration of impellers.
