  • Economics of endogenous and exogenous introducing of EDI
    Lesjak, Dušan ; Rebernik, Miroslav
For an economic evaluation of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) it is important, wether introduction is an internal evolutionary need of a firm or an external demand. Wether an internal or an ... external decision, has a great influence on EDI usage. Evaluating advantages and disadvantages (benafits and costs) of EDI is reasonable only, when EDI is introduced internally-endogenously. In the case of external exogenous introduction of EDI, the benefits of conducting business in a new way are lower and many of the potentials of an information systems go unexplored.
