A trial to improve karst grassland was done using different fertilizing treatments and sowing of grass/clover mixtures. Botanical groups in the sward after three years did not change much. Dry matter ...(DM) yields were the highest applying NPK fertilizer and manure. The cause for this was better water retain due to manure apply. Slow effect of slag and fast effect of NPK were noticed. New sowing resulted in very high DM yield but its use on Karst is limited.
It was not necessary to add the material to the shelf.
