  • The information requirements and resources for managing dynamic multi-project companies
Perko, Igor ; Hauc, Anton ; Vrečko, Igor
Multi-project companies' business success is highly dependable on their ability to promote innovative unique products, to adapt to the changes in their environment, and to use the available ... resources. The resources they can involve in the production are scarce; there-fore, many forms of outsourcing are involved. The present information resources are insufficient to support a multi-project environment within lightly connected companies. In this paper an information system (IS) model that supports strategic and commercial multiple project operations is presented. Multiple key success factors are considered: connecting business goals with project performance; supporting multi-partner management; and separating low cost and key performance supporting IS components. The presented structural model integrates the key components and data flows between entities, while the process model delivers step by step insight into the multi-project processes.
