Stability of solar radiation as an important PV energy quality parameter [Elektronski vir]

Nowadays, the most important indicator of the production of solar energy from PV is the amount of energy that is expected at some geographical location. Photovoltaic energy is also highly depends on ...the frequency and stability of solar radiation. The need for the consistent and comparable determination of the solar radiation stability exists and consequently the direct production of PV electricity. Therefore, we have defined easily calculated stability factor of radiation. Our approach is based on the difference between two measured samples of solar radiation. Our factors (we defined more factors) are completely independent of the theoretical value for the irradiation in the case of (ideal) clear sky and therefore the "nature" of power production and power stability is separated. Our proposed factors depend on the variability associated with the weather, and determine the quality of the geographical areas for the production PV electricity.
