  • Programming of an electronic control gasoline injection system

    This paper deals with the conversion from carburation to fuel injection system of our racing engine according to the special demands of the international Formula Student competition in UK. One of the ... most pretending constraints regarding the engine represents a single circular restrictor through which passes all engine airflow. Attention is focused on the engine management system. For this reason, the new air and fuel supply systems, electronic control unit (ECU), laptop and sensors are prescribed. The practical programming of an open ECU is presented on the engine Honda 600 CBR. This engine with our newly programmed ECU has been experimentally verified at a test stand in our laboratory.
