Friction measurement on small internal combustion engine [Elektronski vir]

The article presents a short survey of a test bed development which is used for friction measurements of small-power internal combustion engines. Friction measurements in the engine are performed by ...measurement of tractive torque by strip-down analysis, which enables friction measurements of the engine moving parts. Within the paper the required conditions, concept and design of assemblies and parts of the test bed are described. The test bed enables friction measurements for various cylinder and lubrication oil temperatures at given revolution per minute.
