  • The NISPAcee Journal's contribution to public administration in Central and Eastern Europe [Elektronski vir]

    This paper addresses the issue of public administration (PA) development in Central Eastern Europe (CEE) through the content analysis of all articles in the NISPAcee Journal, published in the period ... of 2008-2016. The research was conducted in order to identify the discipline progress generally and in relation to Western Europe particularly. The research findings reveal that Europeanization is the common thread in all articles, with a particular emphasis on the ideological elements of the Neo-Weberian and New Public Management doctrines. A considerable emphasis is also placed on the analysis and development of PA as a discipline. The majority of researchers originate from CEE countries, while scientific partnership between the Eastern and the Western academic world is scarce. Following the major outputs and the journal's mission, a further internationalization and multidisciplinary approach is to be encouraged to also contribute to the discipline, both in scientific and practical sense.
