Usporedba rendgenskih i nuklearnomedicinskih pretraga urinarnog trakta u učenica prvih razreda sa asimptomatskom bakteriurijum

The authors have compared rezults of X-ray and nucleo-medical tests of urinarytract in 7 years old girls (1st form of primary school in Maribor. Slovenia with asymptomatic bacteriuria. At first, ...sereening for asymptomatic bacteriuria was performed on 1260 girls. 2,38% (30) girls showed prevalence for asymptomatic bacteriuria. In 21% (6) girls, X-ray showed lesions, in 10% (6) girls vesicoureteral reflux was observed. Pathologie scintigram was seen in 55% (16) girls, pathologic renogram in 76% (22). Among 23 girls with no X-ray proven kidney lesions, 52% (12) showed pathologic scintigram and 74% (17) showed pathologic renogram. Among 6 girls with X-ray proven kidney lesions 67% (4) showed pathologic scintigram, 83% (5) showed pathologic renogram. Associations have not been calculated because of too small numericalvalue, however, it seems that there is a connection between X-ray proven kidney lesions and pathologic rezults of nucleo-medical test in girls weith asymptomatic bacteriuria. We may conclude that nucleo-medical test of the urinary tract cannot substitute X-ray examinations, they may only support them.
