    In this letter, we propose a device that visualizes Wi‐Fi frames in a wireless LAN for beginners with little knowledge of networks. Our visualization device focuses on the nearest Wi‐Fi device and uses a blinking LED panel to convey the frames that are transmitted and received by that device. The blinking pattern and the color of the LED panel depend on the difference in the frame type between transmission and reception, thus allowing a user to intuitively understand what kind of frames are being sent and received. We implemented our proposed device using commercially available products and confirmed that it performs as expected. © 2022 Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan.
