    Objective: To study the presence among salutogenic and pathogenic factors in 40 parents of children with and without motor impairment in the city. Method: descriptive comparative research. As measuring instruments were used the Scale of Psychological Well-being by Ryff, the questionnaire Connor Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC-10) the Scale of SOC by Antonovsky (OLQ-13) and General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-12). Results: descriptive results suggest the presence of statistically significant differences between the sample of parents of children with and without motor impairment at the level of the variables general health (GHQ-12), resilience CD-RISC-10) and psychological well-being while no differences from the variable sense of coherence (SOC) are evident. Conclusion: The results are discussed in the light of the findings raising the need for new studies to determine the impact on the psychological health of parents with children with physical / mental limitations.
