At sexual maturity age, limited numbers of male quails are used in breeding. This study was conducted to execute the slaughter and carcass traits of excess male quails which were extra fattened. For that purpose; slaughter, carcass and some organ weights were compared at the slaughter ages of 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 weeks. Live weights of male quails were increased until age of 8 weeks and live weights remained stable at following ages. Feather ratios were decreased until the age of 8 weeks. Dressing percentages and edible inner organs weights were increased in parallel with increasing age (P<001). Testis ratios were also increased with age until 10 weeks, and constituted 4.56 % of carcass and 3.26% of live weight (P<0.01). According to the results of study, increasing fattening period to 8 weeks could provide advantages to the producers.
