The aim of this study was to compare anthopometric characteristics, body composition and somatotype and constituitional psychology of professional athletes of "futsal" and "football". Composed the sample 18 professional athletes of football and Futsal athletes in 14 second division of Campeonato Catarinense field and in Division 1 of the Catarinense de Futsal in the year 2015. Anthropometric measurements were performed for body mass, height, biceps, biceps relaxed perimeters contracted, waist, hip and calf; subscapular skinfold, triceps, chest, biceps, midaxilary, cockscomb, spinal, abdominal supra iliac, thigh and medial calf; bone diameters of femur and humerus. After fat percentage were calculated by means of the equation of Faulkner (1968) and somatotype and constitutional Psychology by Heath-Carter method (1967). As a result it was found significant difference in "age" (p =0.01), "body mass index" (p =0.01), "stature" (p =0.04), skinfold "breastplate" (p =0.02) and "biceps" (p =0.03) in "diameter femoral" (p =0.02) and football athletes showed higher values in relation to the futsal team. In relation to the percentage of fat, no significant difference was verified, being retrieved from 11.7% to Futsal and athletes 13.1% to 13.1%Field football. Noting significant difference in fat-free mass. The somatotype and constitutional psychology, the athletes were classified as "endo-Mesomorph" not significant difference of body biotipia. For both, the verification and comparison of components of body composition between the modalities of football and futsal are fundamental to identify differences and enhance training to improve physical performance.
