    The fact that Fan Chuanzheng had re-compiled twenty volumes of Li Bai's collected works was recorded in his article "The new tablet inscription." The compilation was not carried out by Fan himself but he was assisted by his aides and staff. Bao Rong, one of Fan's aides, wrote poems following Li Bai's Gufeng style. It's the earliest example of the influence of Gufeng, and might have relation with the compilation. According to the varied texts of "The new tablet inscription" in Wen yuan ying hua and in Li Bai's collection, as well as the reading records of the scholars in the Tang and Song dynasties, Fan's compiled collection might have various circulation tracks and later development. It was collected into the National Library of Tang, and combined with Cao Tang ji into a new edition. It was also circulated and revised in most of the southern regions, especially in Dangtu. This part of text might have been retained in the Dangtu edition.
