  • Comparison of the sensitivity of ceratin methods of detecting inhibitory substances in raw milk
Godič Torkar, Karmen ; Golc-Teger, Slavica
The detection of the presence of inhibitor substances was carried out in 140 raw milk samples, in which they had been previously detected by routine methods, used in slovenian dairyes and veterinary ... institutions. The methods were used are: Delvotest SP, diffusion method with disks according to Kundrat, Penzym S 100, Delvo-X-PRESS and Fluorophos Beta Screen EU. In 13 samples the presence of inhibitors was not detected by neither of the methods in their sensitivity range. In the rest of the samples inhibitors were detetcted: by means of the Delvotest SP method in 78% and by means of the Kundrat method in 77% of samples, the results obtained by the use of the Penzym S 100 method was 70% of positive samples, of the Delvo-X-XPRESS method 62% and the Fluorophos BetaScreen EU method 59%. The accuracy of the methods is good and qualized, while the best correlation was calculated between the DElvotest SP and the Kundrat (correlation coefficient r=0.63, P=0.0001) and between Delvotest SP and Penzym S 100 method (correlation coeficient r=0.60, P=0.0001).
