    Ultrasound, computer tomography, magnetic resonance, are the most often used imaging methods for noninvasive diagnostics and evaluation of the liver lesions. US is the most popular noninvasive ... method, in which contrast media ismostly not needed, and also negative X-ray efect is not known. Disadvantagesare low sensitivity and specificity of the method. CT of the liver is the method of choice for the detection and evaluation of the liver lesions. The accuracy of the method gets higher with the use of the contrast media and its different application methods. MR is used in cases where US and CT are not conclusive in diagnostics. In this review article we describe the role of CT and MR imaging in detection and evaluation of the liver lesions, decision about further therapy and evaluation of the therapeutic success.
