    The lecture is an attempt to draft some current issues with regard to the past fifty years of bilingual education in Slovenia. The fair constitutional, legal, substantial-financial regulation of the ... Hungarian-Slovenian bilingual education and the dominance of the mother language are of course bilateral, the differences in the majority and minority interpretations define the school situation of the Hungarian mother language. The lecture intends to put the emphasis on presenting the recent highly crucial problems, which have been shaping the forms and contents of education. The actuality of the topic is put in a special light in the wake of the fiftieth anniversary which the often cited and analysed educational model celebrated last year. The author - having come from a festival to a festival - is honoured and delighted to welcome the Hungarian Department of the Nitra University on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of its teacher training.
