    ǂThe ǂfact of fossil fuel limitation and the potential danger of nuclear energy led the developed countries to the research and use of renewable energy sources. In the first part of the article the ... steps of stimulation renewable energy sources in the countries of European Community are shown. In Slovenia the use of renewable energy sources was stimulated by the subsidies of Ministry for economic affairs. In the contexts of Strategy of efficient energy use and supply of Slovenia the directives for larger use of renewable energy sources were made. In the Faculty of Mechanical engineering the regulation for stimulation of renewable energy sources were made to achieve this aims.
