  • Remote assembly system for education [Elektronski vir]

    Growing complexity of modern assembly systems demands from engineers, that plane, build and operate these systems, more comprehensive and deeper knowledge about operation and control of components ... and complete systems. During the education and training processes, the students and engineers have to get these knowledge as well as some practical experiences. The concept of Remote Systems (RS), which is based on the idea of Remote Laboratories, can help lecturers to give students more on-spot examples and students as well as engineers to get more practical experience with programming and control of real assembly systems. In this paper a pilot example of RS that enable remote programming and control of assembly system over the internet and practical experience are presented.
