    Sometimes it happens that the end-user and his individual needs for thermal and light comfort are forgotten when striving for an ideal building from the energy consumption point of view. The ... conservative or restrictive design concept tends to isolate the dynamic components of the system and to "protect" the man (occupant, worker) from undesirable impulses of the natural environment. This exclusive and closed concept deals more with energy figures and building alone then with the relations between the natural and built environment, and with the human demands for high quality of living at the intersection.
