    The paper describes a method that accurately estimates active and apparent power of arbitrary repetitive non-coherently sampled voltage and current signal. In situation where coherent sampling is not ... possible the voltage and current sampled signals could be analysed by using the proposed time-domain windowing technique. This is possible when the spectral components in the signal are separated at least for a few FFT bins. By using Hanning Nuttall3b and Nuttall4c windows the actual requirements on signal separation, the accuracy and noise performance of the method are demonstrated. Proposed method performance can be further improved by the selection of another time window function.
