  • Simultaneous optimization of machining parameters in drilling

    To rationalize the machining of tool plates (K-Normalien) it is important what approach is taken to create computer programs for the calculation of optimum cutting parameters. The basis for this ... program is already known and was presented by the author at CIRP conference 81 where the equation for optimization of costs and machining time and the mathematical models were worked out. In the present contribution these models are applied to the field of drilling. The computer includes 3D - analytical and graphical presentation of optimum region with respect to v_c and f. The data input of the program is adapted so that the data are from the INFOS/EXAPT database and can therefore be used either on large computers or workstations where is done with a PC.
