    In view of its application to induction heating the steady-state harmonic approximation of electro-magnetism is considered. A numerical solution of a corresponding axisymmetric case is developed ... following two premisses. First, to ensure a high degree of computational efficiency, and second, to enable easy handling of moving boundaries, which characterize any computer simulation of real induction processes. It is demonstrated in the paper that by coupling of the Finite Element and Boundary Element techniques this goal can be accomplished quite successfully. The physical credibility of the developed model and a corresponding computer simulation based on it is proved experimentally.
