  • The application of EU competition law in Slovenia

    The ultimate aim of this article is the identifi cation of lessons of paramount importance derived from the Slovenian experience with the application of EU competition law, which can be useful for ... other (European) countries, in particular for those who joined the European Union in the year 2004 or even later. For this reason the author, fi rstly, offers a short introduction to EU competition law, secondly, he discusses its application in Slovenia with special focus on major shortcomings, and fi nally, the author offers a combination of several theses, practical suggestions and specific measures related to the competition policy.
