    For an efficient and economical production of quality products it is necessary to establish a ground of variation of measured values of end products. Any alteration of a production process influences ... the end products very specifically. We can discover the cause of the alteration by classifying an end product as a member of a specific class. This article describes the concept of a classification model as a base module in classification process of defects. The classification model is based on mathematical model od measured values of the end products and it is very convenient for use in expert systems.
