    The article questions the categories of trans- and intercultural literature and deals more specifically with the multiple perspectives in recent works by Ivan Ivanji. Ivan Ivanji, a trilingual grown ... up writer, shows in his novels mostly a variety of perspectives on one thing - and therefore deviates from conventional perspectives and disappointed expectations. Furthermore, the narrative mode in his late work problematizes questions of memory and possibilities of narrative truth. Based on text analysis, these points as well as the hybrid concept of culture, which runs through Ivanji's texts, are illustrated.
