    News reporting is the result of a wide palette of information and it is influenced by various social, cultural and political differences and similarities between languages. This thesis discusses ... differences in the structure and the content of newspapers articles in Slovene and French media. The goal was to demonstrate that the structure of French and Slovene newspapers articles is similar; however, examples are distinguished by the style of reporting and the content incorporated. The analysed example articles were found on the web pages of the newspapers Le Monde, L'Express, Delo and Dnevnik. The analysis also includes two articles that were found in print editions of the Slovene newspapers. This thesis discusses the particular emphasis found in the examples and it points out the characteristics of the particular media.
