    We have lauched the Multiple Manipulators for Training and Education (MuMaTe) virtual control and robots project on the world wide web (WWW) to evaluate thesuitability of virtual learning ... environments, the internet , and multimedia technologies within an engineering based flexible educational program. A common problem concerns the limited availability of expensive robotics and control equpment with which students in the educational program can work, in order to acquire valuable 'hands on' experience. Students using networked computers can access this facility to study a series of interactive experiments with the real world laboratory robot mechanism. this paper presents an experiment which enables students to control a six degree MA2000 robotic manipulator.
