    The present dissertation examines the field of parental involvement in (very) young children's English learning in EFL contexts. Additionally, it tries to prove that parents indeed have a very ... important, if not even the most important, role in the process. The main focus of this dissertation is small children (age 1-5) and their early beginnings when it comes to foreign language acquisition and learning. Moreover, parents are presented as the main link between their children and English as a foreign language. Their role is presented as crucial and their efforts and inclusion in the process are presented through the work they are willing to put in when it comes to presenting a foreign language to their very small children even before they enroll them into a kindergarten where English is a part of the program. Acquiring and learning a foreign language successfully at such a young age is a result of parents who are willing to participate in the process and encourage their children to learn a foreign language. How parents present a foreign language to their children is usually reflected in attitudes that children develop towards a new language and their attitudes lead to results, positive or negative.
