  • Simulation of the diesel injection nozzle

    The paper describes in detail the hydraulic phenomena in all sections of the nozzles nad the dynamics of the needle of the diesel nozzle. The hydraulic phenomena is described in the case of pure fuel ... in the nozzle and also in the case of two-phase mixture of fuel-fuel vapour when the pressure drops below the vapour pressure of fuel. The influence of temperature and pressure on the bulk modulus of fuel elasticity is also described. The mathematical model which describes the nozzle is solved numerically by the Runge Kutta method of the fourth order. The computed and the measured parameters show a good correlation at full and partial load.
